That's really cute, Judy pausing the whole sex thing just because Nick hit her fetish in a rather unexpected way.

Here's one of the dialog edits.
>>
Since Weaver wanted critiques, I figured I'd give my two cents, since I really like this story:

Throughout the comic, Nick has had Judy beat in terms of experience (knowing about pred/prey), ease (not batting an eye when Judy asks about bedding her), and empathy (calming and comforting Judy when she's obviously bothered about her fetish). Judy is inexperienced (her unease talking about her/Nick's sexuality), uncomfortable and even shameful of her desires ("so backwards", crying about admitting liking pred/prey), and incapable of controlling herself (in every way: she sweats, she blushes, she even gives off a scent that she was unaware of). She's playing against a pro, and her vulnerability is amplified when in clear contrast with her movie arc (though I hate to use cannon lore when critiquing fan creations).

Even though she's out of her league, there's still give and take: Nick admits to liking her scent, is genuinely shocked when Judy unzips, and loses control himself when she permeates the car. Even so, he's still the one in control.

I can see where Weaver is going with this, and its great: one's a smooth ride on a road that has been long ridden before, and the other is a new driver who hasn't figured out how hard to hit the pedals and is torn between not wanting to crash and a lust for speed.

The one thing I would critique Weaver for (since he asked) is that I feel like Judy's face is getting too composed as the comic continues. Compare
>>2335471
where she's a wobbling melting mess, and
>>2335476
where she's stretched to absurd limits and then about to topple over without Nick's support, to the second half of
>>2335485
where composure is created with the 90 degree angle, which by its nature removes the asymmetry of the face-- the clear conveyance of imbalance and uncertainty. The facial expression in the very last panel portrays confidence that I feel comes out of left field.
>>
Weaver, if you see this, it would be a crime to not have them kiss at any point.

Here's a very poor edit of the last panel to try and convey the contrasts between Nick and Judy: Nick keeps his stable gaze and his calm smirk, and Judy loses her downward gaze (signing confidence/dominance) for an excited, almost nervous expression where the lower lid perks from the excitement of the smile, which returns to a lip bite seen in previous panels.

There ya go Weaver, hope this critique is worth anything.

>>
>>2336370
I agree that they should have affected her, but not to make her more baseline. Judy is in unfamiliar territory, and has a lot to lose: she's admitting a shameful pleasure, she's admitting feelings towards a friend/colleague and thereby changing the nature of their relationship, and she's worried about how this paints her. See
>>2335465
panel 3, and
>>2335471
panel 8.

Her pun joke is an attempt to play off the mood, which emulate's Nick's behavior and is a great addition to show the change in character. I just think its too much of a confident change, rather than being caught in the moment but cognizant of how deep she's in. IMO, the joke could be delivered with the opposite of when she asked Nick whether he was into Pred/Prey, where she feigned a disinterested normalcy that immediately fell when Nick said he liked little women. This time, its an attempt of full enthusiasm despite nerves.

What's the status on the Foxhole page? If it's kept in, it feels like a pothole of atmosphere on an otherwise near-perfect crescendo of nervous lewdness. If it's taken out, the first panel of the latest page doesn't make any sense (She takes off her shirt and wants him free and wild, and suddenly they need to "get back into it"?). And then there's another hitch to boot?

I assume the edit storm of weaver refinement will continue but please don't let this become the feels version of the Columbia disaster.

>>
>>2340744
Weaver with much respect you're too eager to change that last panel.

If anything the original was more consistent. Panels 7 and 8 are lidded with lust. 9 is shock and surprise, maybe worry she'd pushed him. The original 10 was a return to form, maybe not sub-space, but telegraphing "I'm interested." It also mirrored Nick's half-lidded expression! They're at equal lust again! No hard feeling about the mention of the muzzle!

There was no downward gaze. It was half-lidded at equal height. I'm not sure what Anon was reading, but I sure wasn't getting "dominant."

This new expression? I don't know how to read it, but it's sure as Hell not the same "drinking in the scene" you worked hard on in panels 7 and 8.

Please, consider returning to the original.

It's ultimately your work, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Foxhole page. It underscored they aren't fuck-acrobats doing this for the fourth time. They're both a little uncertain, still teasing out what sort of boundaries they want to play with in the future.

I was VERY happy to see that in a lewd comic.

This segue? It makes it seem like they went directly from fingering to CIRQUE DE SOLEIL'S ZUMANITY on the dashboard.

>>
>>2340854
Weaver you are literally a godsend.
>>
>>2340884
Here's the thing: the two versions of >>2340744
now seem to work depending on if the "Foxhole" page is omitted or not.

If it's included, then the lusty, half-lidded eyes in the final panel work better because of how she's still in the heat of the moment, still subdued by passion. Cue fingering.

If it's omitted, the wide-eyed, more intent Judy final panel works better. She's kind of veered out of the zone, and Nick's next line "Tell you what, bunny..." makes much more sense as he reels her back into the moment, something she even admits.

Now there's a small problem. BOTH work. BOTH make sense for their character, but it's almost like the story splits here, one route taking "Foxhole" and the other going down "Off the Pill". You could try and entwine "Foxhole" back into it, but you'd really need another page or two to connect it back to "Off the Pill".

I really dislike the idea of hybrid children. It's mostly due to the fact that gametic isolation would prevent that kind of thing from happening in the real world. Yes, it's a cartoon, but creating hybrid monster children would probably result in a very dysfunctional set of partial gene expressions in very critical places. Plus, with the world of Zootopia being similar to ours, it would only be a matter of time before hybrid animals were common enough to see in an average situation, like in the movie, where we never saw any. What happens when a rhino and a rabbit try to lay? Or when a giraffe and a weasel try? You have to draw the line somewhere.

I can accept hybrids in Sabrina-Online's world because they're all basically humans with animal features, but the animals in zootopia are all animals with human features, including massive size differences and many of their instinctual ticks from their past.

tl;dr hybrid babies are dumb and nonsensical

All of the babies in Treasure planet look like the mom, and even if they didn't "girls look like mom and boys look like dad" is a common trope. Entirely different species producing viable offspring is also a 'magic' trope, but unlike the above its fucking disgusting and you should kill yourself desu senpai
>>

Biology (the actual thing, not its description) does not recognize any clear cut difference between different breeds and different species. They're simply referred to as such out of convenience, and because they posses the ability to interbreed.

The only 'cross species' children in Mass Effect are Asari, which are specifically stated to reproduce via parthenogenesis but use 'useful attributes' from the father

Actually a shit ton of research went into this film. They did a too down world building approach a la Minority Report.

But, like every other movie that falls for the Minority Report meme, it turns out that stories dont just appear out of worlds that you've figured out how sewers and freeways work for giraffes and ferrets alike.

Great.
You mentioned three elements of Star Trek that serve to set up the scene.

Do you want me to start criticising how Zootopia's entire setup makes no sense because of any number of things the movie decided to ignore, like the fact that based on their diets a lot of animals would be incapable of evolving human like intelligence, no matter the time given to them?

I won't, because I know, like you do, that in order to get the story going, and showcase everything else, you need to gloss over just a few details. Like how the characters got where they were trying to go.
"You don't need to see Arthur Dent wake up and brush his teeth every morning" and all that.

>>2341472
Oh there definitely was, I'm not questioning that.
But acting like Star Trek has no research done, just because it incorporates a few fantastical elements?
It makes it sound like the person never even read a Science Fiction story in their life.

As soon as you move away from His Master's Voice, you have to incorporate some touch of fantasy.
Asimov has a good little speech about that on the Inside Star Trek disc somewhere. "Asimov's World of Science" or something like that.
>>
>>2341495
i didnt imply that. they could work out something. maybe they could just hot dog it. maybe theres lube in the glove box
>>

I've literally watched every episode of Star Trek. Star Trek did research, and discards it in the name of plot, which is fine, but Zootopia did research and used it to GROUND the plot which is something else entirely.

Believe me, when you can't look like a circuit kid any more or wake up at 9AM with your face full of ass-glitter and look okay by brunch, that "gay as central identity" takes a turn.

>Ground for plot
Okay, let me start taking the plot apart then at the basis, shall I?
Zootopia!
Sprawling metropolis with animals of all shapes and sizes!

Let's take someone from here who's job is to work with computers, shall we?
If he's big, he's at a massive disadvantage.
Why?
Because there is no reason why his intellectual work should be worth any more than the intellectual work of someone much smaller than him. They're doing the same work. No reason any company should pay him more, or hire him if they can pay someone smaller less.

Why should smaller animals get paid less?
Because they need less.
Their houses use less raw materials. Their food uses less raw materials. Their cars use less fuel, their smartphones, lights, tv screens, etc are smaller, and need less electricity. They need less water for the plumbing.

Yet, all of these things, they get from a common, integrated source that feeds the entire city.
A hamster programmer will invariably have much more disposable income than an elephant programmer who does the same work, hell even if he does much better work, because they have different base needs.

There is no way to balance this. You cannot maintain a free market, and demand that a company explicitly hire "size-wise challenged" workers, who they'll have to pay a lot more, to cover those worker's basic needs.
Nor can you do it the other way, and artificially drive up the cost of everything smaller animals consume, without every industry starting to lean heavily to cater to that one specific demographic.

Zootopia is by default impossible unless it is an idyllic communist paradise with a planned economy.

Where was their research on that?

Guess it got thrown out in the name of plot.

or animals stick to jobs that make sense, like the beavers being concrete and road workers using their tails to smooth out cement.

Riiight, so what was the core message of this movie again?

Can you tell me again how the elephant who biologically needs to consume about 1000% natural resources (if not more) will break into his dream job that is specifically designed around hamsters, because their greatest asset is their mind, while elephants are heavy lifters?

Oh man this is amazing. I would seriously, SERIOUSLY, love to see her search terms, and what was generally going through her head.

>thinking about fox dick
>thinking about nick's dick
>questions start forming in her head as she's masturbating and thinking about pursuing a relationship with him
>time to hit FurPage

the message is to TRY everything, but know your limitations. how would an elephant program exactly? the input device would have to be insanely big or neural, in which case it doesnt matter what you are. or maybe you shouldnt go that far into analyzing it (not the star trek person so I can say that) or perhaps they do have a fair economy for everyone because it's supposed to be a Utopia
