But now, Buttercup had convinced Coco that, although Jack was gone, she should still accompany her to enjoy a weekend with Trent. Both Buttercup and Trent nearly had to twist Coco’s arm to convince her to go, but now they were together again. Without Jack.
“It feels different,” Coco muttered under her breath, a frown upon her brown cheeks as she took the familiar elegance of the mansion in. Buttercup took her hands and smiled into her old friend’s eyes.

The three stomped back inside under a deep night sky a few hours later, shivering in their wet clothes. They took turns changing into their pajamas, one by one aligning themselves on the couch in front of the big screen. The television emitted colored splashes of light as the three began to glance fondly at one another.
“I’m so glad to be here,” Coco burst out suddenly, her voice shaky. Trent and Buttercup’s eyes were on her, and her chocolate-hued cheeks burned. “I mean, I’m glad you guys convinced me to come out. This IS fun, even without… Jack.”
“We are glad you came, Coocoo,” Buttercup grinned, using an old pet name she had invented for her friend. Trent nodded in agreement.

I've had numerous fantasies about deathclaws myself.
For starters, I like the old fashioned female deathclaw in heat that decides to fuck her human victim instead of kill him. He's terrified even as that wet, tight pussy descends on his dick; what if he can't please her?

The idea would be the evil scientist who mind controlled the intelligent deathclaw would do it because he either couldn't mind control the unintelligent one, like hypnotizing an animal doesn't really work like its does on humans, or secondly because actually capturing and experimenting on a real deathclaw is too dangerous and difficult. He could get the female deathclaw into his weird machine just by asking her and lying saying it was going to do something else to help her out.
