This picture is interesting, because...
1) It has lots of the usual, classical "naive" aspects of bad artists - jpg artifacts, "literal" lines from a grade school art project, dodgy shading. Notice how his belt chain disappears two-dimensionally at the edge of his pants. Ordinarily, this type of thing adds up to a cringe-fest a la Chris Chan or whatever other horror stories you can remember...
2) BUT, in this case, the picture for all its flaws, still basically works, and works juuust enough to escape the "crappy valley". In fact, since it managed to escape, the naivete gives it a little charm. The proportions are good and not ridiculous, the face and head (a bit small but that works for a heroic body proportion) are decently on-model, and the musculature although extreme makes total sense, nice 8-pack, obliques, delts, shoulder muscles, everything's where it belongs. The goofiest thing in the picture is that fat goofy hand, but even that's in basic proportion and not flagrantly bad. He's just swole af, is all, which works. The design on the cute briefs even works like when others add in a silly doodle to complement their more complex pictures.
6/10 would fap, certainly put a lot of thought into it.
I can't look at Fox or Falco without my mind being bombarded with micro/macro porn.
