Doc : Well I need to make sure you have enough iron in you. Doubt that's a problem but I've had stranger things happen.
He pricks your finger with something once, squeezes out a drop of blood, wipes it away with another one of those disinfectant things, and repeats the process.
Now he's got a little glass container the size of a fingernail filled with your blood, which he takes to a machine.
Doc : Insurprisingly everything checks out. Now time for the rest of the questions.

He goes through the list of questions until he actually takes out a needle for the weird tubing, after disenfecting a spot on your arm first.
