Been watching for the past few days on cn, jeez I forgot how much I love this show
I think one of my my favorite places they visited was the sea spire, it's such a shame it was destroyed. The vast ocean and night sky, the stars, the running water, the silvery moonlight, the music, etc. Same sort of reasons I loved lapis's tower. The sparkly magical atmosphere of this show is amazing.

I napped between studying for economics and I had a dream about the gems.
I was in grade school, learning about volcanoes and their interior and how it related to mineralogy and gem culture, and I was screwing off because it was boring. The gems were there too and thought it was bullshit, so they busted me out and we took my car to drive to an actual volcano. We were speeding, so I crashed, and we ended up getting pretty scraped up. Opal grabbed me and took the brunt of the damage so I didn't die.
We took a couple of momentos from the wreckage, one of them that Garnet especially cared about was a drum with a flashlight on it.
We got to the volcano and it was dark, there were gates all around, cops, and a big circle roadway with bumper-to-bumper traffic with slow-flowing glitchy water. We waded through, climbed the fence, and began climbing the stairs and ladders that were apparently on the side.
The authorities began to spot us because of Garnet's momento, so as we were running I had to fling it away, and Garnet was distraught.
