Just the porn, and the cute art too from time to time, but I guess that's a given. I just treat it as a fetish, and it doesn't really affect my life in any way, so I don't consider myself a furry. I tried going deeper into the fandom about a year ago, but I bailed the fuck out when I saw firsthand how bad the social stigma is, and on top of that, how retarded the community itself can be. When it's not about fucked up drama about animal fuckers and muh commissions, it's literally all just yiff jokes, animal noises and terrible self deprecating humor. I like to think of myself as very open minded, but honestly I don't understand the furry lifestyle. I don't get why you'd pick something that's looked down upon by almost everyone and decide to focus your life around it. Sure, look at all the porn you want, draw whatever, hell, even make it publicly known that you do that, but don't let it consume your fucking soul, jeez.

I'm really only here for the porn. If I don't see anything that tickles my fancy then I'm willing to put money down to see it done.
Could care less about the community, from what I've observed furries will throw the biggest tantrums on whose oc is doing who. Also furries show no restraint when they're at a con. I've read some articles that some places have banned furries with the trouble that they've caused. Seriously, just because you don a suit doesn't mean it's okay to throw shit everywhere.
Still, I might attend a bigger convention at least once. Only reason being is to get some lewds that only show up there. Luckily the internet provides most of the porn, but there are just some works (or artist commissions) that only show up at cons. If I could get the con only stuff online then I wouldn't be going there.

Back in the day Portal of Evil and Something Awful did a lot to make furry hating an acceptable part of the internet and I think that legacy still continues. The things that have changed for me are that I'm less involved with the scene (in the 90s I was not aware of any anonymous forums, if any even existed, so my email address might still linger in some mailing list's archive). In my case, it most likely started during my youth (as these things tend to do).
I grew up watching a tonne of looney tunes and animated movies featuring anthropomorphic characters, as well as shows like talespin, chip and dale, the ferals, TNMT, biker mice from mars...
By the time I learned of furries and discovered the porn, it just felt very natural to me as I was able to see anthro characters as being like people (since I had watched so much of that stuff growing up).
