At least all of the recent stuff uses ball joints instead of pegs like figmas. You'll get a common sized ball/socket every once in a while, but even in the same lines it's rare that you can just straight up swap heads. So unless you use some blu tack or just want to rest the new head on the neck, no.

GPS only applies to the plastics more than a decade ago + some exceptions here and there (some 07 TF movie toy was the latest one?). It was an issue with the kind of plastic they used, not inherently metallic plastic in general. Not all older toys had an issue with GPS, it was mainly Hasbro/Takara.
King's hips may not even be gold plastic, but a plain yellow-gold. Regardless, if you're getting into Ultra-acts, you'll be getting metallic coloured joints because most Ultramen have silver joints.

It is pretty ridiculous. They already are going to impede the articulation a lot with the overcoat, they should have just made the visible part of the blazer sculpted into the overcoat as well and had a completely hidden torso joint behind soft rubber. I really doubt that what they have going on is going to get much better movement than the Camera and Light Patrol Men SHFs, which have fully covered torsos.

You should be able to remove the elbow joint and place it correctly, but be careful so you don't break it. If you can't remove the joint don't force it and try to warm up the arm with hot water first.

Adding to him, the reason why they're so tight is because the 'pegs' have grooves in them. They're extra secure because of this.
So yeah, definitely heat up the plastic first before trying. I find it easier to pull them out than to plug them back in.

The skin looks kinda glossy in some places, the face and the body sculp are ugy, the hands look fucking small, and it can only headswap with some of the figuarts. But I think I'm going to get a pair of the gray ones, because I have a thing for blank figures.
