Don't get too excited. It wasn't a good deal at all.
First, I bought it in 2012. Second, It was supposed to be missing the dildo accessory, but third, when it came, it was missing more. Fourth, the seller didn't care and ignored my messages. Fifth, it also had a malformed hip joint that the seller didn't bother telling me about, making the leg horribly loose and impossible to tighten by the usual ways.
This is back when I was too stupid to open a paypal dispute too, so I got nothing but bad memories about this purchase.

This is the hard part of tf collecting between takara and hasbro.
Hasbro usually seem quite cheap while takara aims for anime accuracy and gets better looks as a result, the new heads offer amazing likenesses to their anime counterparts, this is true, and the same colored titan master vehicles are a plus, but there is a cost...
Hasbro's on the other hand look decent due to the mold colors being varied enough, while hasbro hard head has less paint apps he still stands out as the hardhead we know and love, as they're quite minimal, same to most of the others.
So far mindwipe and chromedome hasbro versions take advantage of the fact takara is following anime accuracy, and much like UW defensor they got less/boring color changes (I kinda dig the grey knees on mindwipe over the black).
If I don't find any local titan masters I'll go full takara, and so far that is becoming a reality by the second...

Oh no, I don't like excessive "PARALLEL LINES AND VENTS EVERYWHERE" either, but I think Swindle's legs are actually fairly well done. The black pipes add just enough colour breakup and the detail looks functional, rather than just being a mess of lines and ridges. I do like minimalist designs, provided they have some detailing (such as subtle panel lines, rivets etc, like on MP-10) and aren't literally just flat, barren surfaces (like MP Inferno's legs).

You can tell from pics they did a ton of changes:
-Legs
-New hand held guns
-New/altered cab
-New feet
-New chest piece (may be a power master figure, it's hard to tell at the moment)
-A good chunk of the arms are new (I think only the shoulders were the same)

I think they learned this stuff through the deco design documents we saw triggerhappy and co, just from the way they talk about the figures (like voyager optimus having two heads, and megatron maybe being a jet like we're speculating).
