Where to buy second hand Shinkis:
>eBay, Amazon - generally overpriced, but you might get lucky.
>Mandarake, Rakuten - search 武装神姫 and don't trust listing images.
>Yahoo Japan Auctions, Suruga-ya - you'll need a proxy if you’re not in Japan.
>Taobao - some shops ship international now, so you might not need a proxy.
>Amiami, Jungle-scs - occasionally get some preowned.
>Check the BST threads, My Figure Collection, and Busou Shinki World too.

Jinrai Indigo version goes up in 20 minutes or so.

Looking like she might be general release. They're going to be selling her on Amazon.jp and not just Kotoshop if figsoku is to be believed.

Koto will have some exclusive blank face parts and hair parts it seems.
http://figsoku.net/blog-entry-25912.html

Below links will 404 while the listing isn't up. Should work once they are.

I know they're a bit large on Shinkis, and that FAGs are slightly beefier than those.
>>

Or Ron Paul
>>
>>5706118

Depends on the clothes. FAGs are quite a bit bigger than Shinkis so have the opposite problem.

Things like hoodies and tops seem to fit nicely. Skirts and dresses I've had no luck with.

The holes in the bottom of her thighs are 3mm, so as long as it has a 3mm peg you can put it on there.

Or you can even connect two 3mm holes together via a piece of runner. That's how I attached my Heavyarms missile pods to my Gourai.

I managed to get Assault Lily clothing onto Materia. Two minor obstacles were that Materia has a slightly shorter neck so anything in the collar area that juts out will push against her head. I couldn't fit the skirt around her waist so it is hiked all the way up to where she is thinnest at the midsection. As a result, Materia's underpants are barely concealed from the front and are plainly visible from the rear.
They have the same arm length but Materia's legs are significantly longer.

No, pure neemo is 1/6 which is way too big.

You want Pico Neemo, and not the Pico neemo 'D' stuff which is chibi proportioned.

Assault Lily is fine too, they use the Pico 2.0 bodies with better articulation.

Not him but I was under the impression from the timing of the announcement that the deal was at the very least in the works before konami went into full retard mode. The change really was something that occurred practically over night with no warning so it might not have affected the deal quite so much as some seem to believe.

But then again this is postulation from dude who has more connections with the game industry and thus understanding how long license deals tend to work on that side of things, and practically no knowledge on the toy industry and how fast they might pop out announcements after a deal is secured.

I wouldn't say they went full retard back then with the shinki. Can you blame them if it just wasn't selling like it use to? If it was just unprofitable they had to cut it. But it did seem like they were looking for some better factories for a potential revival when the anime raised massive amount of interest.

However completely and totally shutting down the entire game development department and not bothering to be polite at all with the employees in the process is full retard.

Konami is fuknuts in the head. I mean, they killed their homegrown toyline just as an anime was ready, then they fire the game director who made them a ton of money over dozens of metal gear releases.

You wanna talk about a company that hates money, they're pretty much it.
>>
>>5719244
The big money they were chasing after lay in the pachinko industry.

Still a very stupid decision to drop all the other moneybags in pursuit of that.
>>
>>5718284
Yeah. It's the flat chests combined with the MMS3rd Small body and the facial designs I think. I'd absolutely adore them if they weren't so scantily clad, but as is I'd feel kind of ashamed displaying them without some proper clothes- and that's coming from a proud owner of Figma Ryuuko and Satsuki. I dunno. Maybe I'm being over-sensitive but there's something...creepy about them.

That said, if I could get or make clothes similar to pic related and I found them for a sensible price I'd buy them in a heartbeat. I'd want them to be able to equip their armour and weapons though so I'd probably have to make something.
>>
>>5719278
Gabrine isn't that bad..I mean, at least she's wearing pants, anyway.
>>
>>5719278
I think it's because they're petite AND flat. Artille is kinda petite too, but she's stacked on the boobage.
>>

>>5719284

Incidentally, are there any good books/guides on making doll clothing? I saw one in a doll's house shop but it was all for period clothing rather than general clothes-making advice. Not that I have a problem with period clothing of course.

I never thought of that with Renge. Out of the two she's probably my favorite since I've got her almost decked out like she was in the Gaburen book. It also helps that the previous owner was a bro and included a custom hairpiece for her too.

Again, you are comparing the current konami, the one who fired kojima, to 2012 konami. Don't be salty and make them out to be eternal monsters back then over canning our favorite toy line, except for that mistake, they still were trying out awesome ideas like setting up plans for the awesome silent hill project that current konami took a giant steaming dump over. Current konami is still only one year old.
>>
>>5719352
"Current" Konami was happening beyond Metal Gear. For instance all of the important names for the Love Plus and Tokimeki franchises left in similar situations to Kojima way earlier than Kojima did. Franchises have been left dead and wasted longer than they've abandoned Busou Shinki for. Fact of the matter is that Konami's been shit for a long time, it just hasn't come into the public limelight in the West til a big name likr Kojima got caught up in it. Konami's been a joke to Japanese for a long time before Kojima's incident.

>>5719352

too bad Kojima has never made a good game his entire career, so I don't give a shit that he got fired.

For a first kit, I've seen worse. But right now you need to stop.

Go to the nearest arts and crafts store and buy
1. A new xacto knife
2. A pack of blades. (I think #18 are pretty good for kits. But basically anything where the blade faces forwards instead of down)

Very carefully, go back over her and cut off the nubs. Try to make the cuts as smooth and flat as possible.

This is the first most important thing you can do to make her look good.

Also check out the gunpla general. They have a guide full of good advice.
>>
>>5721604
are these kits hard to build? Say for a complete amateur wanting to build one just for the sake of having a FAG
>>
>>5721733
Snap kits are pretty easy. But your first one is always going to be relative garbage. I'd go buy a cheap Gundam or danball LBX to practice on before working on a kit you care about.

Again. Read and double read the gunpla generals guide. It's very helpful. And make sure you're using the right tools.

Why do people bid on shinkis with six days left? All it does is make the auction more expensive.
>>

eBay sends out a different email for items you bid on nearing the end as opposed to items you just watch. And if you just don't care but want to toss in a token bid just in case no one else wants it either. It's not that complicated. Sorry the world doesn't revolve around you.

Outside of conventions, you won't find any 'spare' ones. You might get lucky on Yahoo Japan Auctions, and I know of at least one Taobao seller who makes shinki shit, but honestly, the cheapest and most reliable way might be to make resin recasts yourself.

Other than that, unless you're looking for specific hands and faces, you'll need to just buy cheap shinkis.
