Last I heard, Fox owns the rights to anything AvP. That's why Capcom haven't re-released the arcade game despite great demand for it.
Neca would have to get both Capcom and Fox to agree to a license. Probably not worth the effort.

They're re-releasing the brown one from wave 3, and releasing a new grey repaint. Not sure if it's going to be 50/50 of each color per case, but they're both part of wave 9. I doubt there'll be any new parts or tooling done, the dog Alien was pretty much perfect in opinion, maybe the second knee joints could be a little stronger for holding poses.

Went to TRU and grabbed an NES T2 Terminator and found an AVP Xeno Warrior and Grid hidden behind a bunch of bishops.
Grids paint was really fucked up, so I just grabbed the Warrior instead. The silver paint is fucking awesome in a well lit area.

Rusted Temple Guard has the most articulation out there simply by the virtue of not having either body/hip armor compared to the main 3 and also one of the most accesories; two handed claws, with 4 on one side (retracted main blade vs. long main blade) and two on the other side (again retracted vs. long version). They would be dumb not to, Gorilla seems to be "the" figure most people mention when talking about most requested Aliens from NECA's Kenner line.
I'd say the majority of figures you're going to find them making are the ones that got KB Toys/Hive Wars repaints so they can release the figures twice, like their Kenner Predator line. Unfortunately that leaves out the flying Queen Alien, which is one of my favorites, but if they make her as a deluxe boxed figure like their Bat Gremlin I'll be cumming my money right at it.

Found a Keaton Batman and a Reeves Supes at my local TRU yesterday. The Reeves had a leg snapped off in the box. I got the Keaton Bats but I have a question: Weren't these figures only to be sold bundled with certain blu rays? They're $25 each and sold separately. Its based on the original Kenner King Alien. The original wasn't really that big, anyway, and I guess they were keeping it in like with the idea that the Xenos function sort of like an insect colony. And the males are always way smaller than the queen.

Overall is quite easy, just heat the dome around the spots that hold it to skull (right above the jaw) and use something thin and flat to pry it out. I advise using hot water as both parts are glued together and it would be much easier to remove it.

Those figures are like 4 or 5 years old. I think everyone would embrace an upgrade to those figures with open arms.
You have to remember, when the Lost Tribe was coming out, that WAS the new body of that time. The P2 body was first being used for those guys. It was the first body with double jointed knees, a ball joint in the waist, and tons of new armor and parts.

One of my favorite things about NECA is that a lot of the figures they do are of characters that 5 other companies aren't already doing, so when they do figures like this I can't help but to not care at all. Also it's quarter scale. And I'm not a deadpool fan.

Oh wow. I've collected NECA for god knows how long, but strangely enough I've held off buying any of NECA's 1/4 figures but this could be the first time I'm really tempted for one. Movie costume would have been nice (though I guess I'll have the Hot Toys for that), but this looks like a really great rendition of his general comic look as of recent.

I think it's different because Aliens and Predators are already solidified as cool from their original movies so those characters are always loved.

I want to get him a nice 7'' figure for fathers day, and I'm not sure which Xenomorph to get him. PROTIP: Heat them before attempting to move the joints for the first time and be very gentle with them, the 7'' has better production than the one they released before but sill its arms and legs are too thin and might break if you are careless.
