Can we have a thread about figures that we would like to get "collector friendly" release, but probably never will.
>this
Only things is, I have no idea who would be best for the job...

>SMALL SOLDIERS
my childhood dream.

I have no idea what this is...
but man...
>>5665230
you mean you never seen Small Soldiers?
go watch it. its cheesy but fun movie about action figures.
>>5665235
surprisingly violent too
man, wish there was an articulated archer
>>5665223
depends on what you mean by "collector friendly", cause really for me, that mostly just means some figures getting rereleased on the mass market at an affordable cost(and hypothetically for lines that aren't American in origin, getting a release Stateside)
>>5665236
>waht to say stuff like "I wish it was released these days. It could be be..."
>remember shitty nowadays toys
>remember shitty Jurassic World Hasbro
>remember shitty current superhero lines
Nah.
90s line is superior.

so you like 5POA better?

>5POA
a...what.
But jokes aside - mainstream toys for kids are pretty bad these days.
Stuff like Street Sharks is top notch quality compared to what we have now.

That's an acronym for "5 Points of Articulation", which was all the figures in the OP had.
I love the Kenner Small Soldier figures but they were severely simplified for kids and were even downsized to 6" as opposed to the 12" scale they had in the movie.
OP's trying to ask what toys you think need a proper, more high end update. Like what the Masterpiece line is for Transformers.

Neca would probably do a good job but I'd want them to be 12" figures, like pic related but poseable.

I remember getting my gramma to buy me Chip before the movie came out cause I thought he was the good guy. (The marketing trick from the movie fucking worked!)
I was sorely disappointed.
