I just watched Civil War. It was alright, but what really caught my eye was this sexy suit right here. And once again, I realize that I still lack an Iron Man figure.
What are the chances we get an SHF or revoltech of this beast? Or should I just settle with another Iron Man toy?

I love the IM figuarts, but I'm always bothered by how they do the eyes and chest lights. Feels like they're lacking something without something replicating the blue glow.

This does of course only really work for toys that are not out yet. Make sure to check on the actual day of release as well. You haven't completely lost yet.

The MK VII from Avengers. a nice combo of every main suit up 'til then. Otherwise the MKII/III, for establishing the basic movie IM look we're only now moving away from. And we still use the same basic helmet, anyway.

I don't have an import IM yet. I have the shitty hasbro ones. If I just want one, fairly definitive movie IM which one should I get? I want the figure to scale ok to basic ML, so sadly Figuarts is off limit because it is too small. Also mk42 Figma is not really the definite look and mk43 Figma is not available for the west so I'm gonna have to deal with rape scalp price.
Currently I'm leaning on either MkVII Figma, or the two upcoming XLVs from Revo/Mafex. Any suggestions?
I would maybe just get the revoltech or figuarts iron man or cap, otherwise that's kinda a lot.

Overpriced, loose joints, wrist flaps connected to forearms and not the hands, soft plastic in wrist flaps and ankle guards crinkle and flare out when left in flexed position too long, and paint starts to look splotchy after a while. Please avoid.

I live in Japan, my favorite suite between these (and probably in general) is mk42/43
I honestly prefer the 42 colors, but on the other side, 43 is a more "standard" iron man, and since I would be able to get it without being raped in the ass (well, even more than the base price), I'm really lost here.
I don't really think I want them both, I just want one good iron man suite. I trust figma, I hate revoltech, and the other offered suits are not really as nice looking to me as 42/43

I have this on order but I'm honestly not impressed. For once, the overall finish actually looks too shiny compared to how the actual suit looked on film. Not to mention how all the "light" ports just blend in with the silver leaves a lot to be desired.

I ordered Mk46 SHF (Civil War suit), Mk 45 Mafex (that Tony sculpt) and Mk 42 Figma (always loved the gold color scheme).
I mainly got most of them just to "feel" out the different QC of each company's work though I'm skipping the Mk 45 Revoltech since I already have the SHF and have the Mafex PO (though their Ultron Prime was pretty damn good). Hopefully it won't be long until Mafex puts out their own Mk46.

Despite my love of 46, I caved in and got the Mk 45 revo tonight. might change my mind if another option becomes available, but honestly, Revoltech has always been pretty good to me (aside from Griffon from patlabor). Meanwhile, My D-Arts from Tamashii sort of suck, so I don't trust them quite as much.
I'm ambivalent to Mafex though. I'll definitely bite if the put out a MK 46.
