By awards for TV, movies, and music. Why not toys? There should be one huge toy award show each year. What do you think?

Why a bad idea? Even video games have awards.
Stuff is just way too different in quality. It'd just end up being Hot Toys and Japanese figures winning everything, with maybe a few pity awards to NECA and the like. Movie/TV/Music awards wrk because ultimately anyone can enjoy the nominees for a similar price. With Toy awards you'd have toys that only a niche of people own winning.

Movies and music have a governing body for awards and are multimillion dollar industries. Tell me when a toy sold millions on a single day.
