Really, I thought bringing Kaiohken back was pretty retarded, until I saw the episode.
I mean, it still kind of doesn't make sense, but at the same time at least it kind of made for an exciting episode. The fight with Hit so far has been the highlight of Super. Ordered on HLJ and panicked when I realised they sometimes put up orders for items they no longer have.

Kioken requires a calm mind, fitting as it increases martial arts and ki control. Super saiyan requires anger and rage to increase all stats. So getting both is stacking buffs.
Managed to get an old IF Labs Goku for pretty cheap. Can't wait for it to arrive so I can laugh at it harder.

SSJ is just something that happened due to a huge emotional surge. Kaioh-Ken was literally just a learnable powerup. In fact, the question is always called as to why Ten, Yamcha, and the others couldn't just learn it.
It isn't a rage powerup, because the point is that you have to be in total control, and carefully use it while really focusing. If you fucked up, it would strain your body so bad that you'd more or less just explode.

it just occurred to me how bandai could get a teen gohan normal head made for a release. Battle damaged SS2 gohan for his one armed Kamehameha against cell as his definitive version like awakening version is for goku. He comes with a torn gi similar to awakening goku and the bloody face with the scream.
He wouldn't need the piccolo cape or ss1 head so they can include his normal head with some faces. There could be an effect piece similar to the aura for ghost goku doing the Kamehameha behind him while on display.

Speaking of Figuarts Zero, I just got Gotenks in the mail (along with Figuarts Beerus). I have to say, I think I love the Zero figures more than the normal Figuarts releases. The poses are great, and the effects are pretty awesome. I love having a good looking Gotenks in my collection. I also have the Figuarts Zero Frieza, Trunks, and SSJ Vegeta and have no complaints with any of them.
