Where was he limited other than the lack of dropdown hips, which many companies are seemingly phasing out anyways? Forward and backward torso movement is fine considering the soft rubber opened overlay (and it can be opened even further by popping him apart and removing the sash), the dropdown legs allow him a great range of motion considering the sheer bulk of his shorts' cuffs, the head and neck move extremely well, ankles are perfect... Looks like a pretty solid figure, shame about the forward motion of the legs but otherwise it's got everything and a titty monster rack. Kinda makes Luffy's figure look bad in comparison because she got numerous effect parts and he didn't get shit for his powers. You would use your whole body to do that kind of kick, yes, but that wasn't really the point. The main thing is the range of movement in the hip alone, which is very limited. And compensating the poor movement in one joint is fine, but with this figure, the pose still looks quite forced and awkward.
None of the other figures in this line have drop down hips. That would be pretty hard to overlook

The point of dropdown hips is that you get the exact same aesthetics of normal hips in static poses, but also a greater range for deeper poses when you actually extend the hips. Calling dropdown hips ugly is a completely dumb thing to say unless you find standard hips ugly, too.

I'm just going to cut you off at the pass and point out that it's a slippery slope to say one form of toy articulation is not anatomically correct and therefore bad while glossing over everything else that is just as anatomically incorrect on toys. For example, wrists don't swivel, the rotation of the wrist comes from the difference between supine and pronated positions of the radius and ulna. If you cherry pick what you think is wrong while ignoring everything else that is just as "wrong", it makes you look like you're just developing half of an opinion for the sake of your own convenience rather than one based off of logic.

She cannot even do a squat, got mine on Monday was surprised of the size. Articulation wise the joint between the legs and the torso keep popping off, and the soft jeans in rubber is not helping. But it is a very good and sexy doll. Saving grace is you get 10 hands and 3 more faces and the stick with effects.

that setup isn't new, it's old, and still less articulate than earlier/most rider pulldown hips. The pulldown hips that suck are the DBZ ones, the rest are mostly great, and tend not to look weird at all. But there really is nothing wrong with pulldown hips when done right.
I personally prefer hip balls placed further in front, like Robot Damashii setups. Gives you the extra range upward without giving you more joint adjustments.

To be fair, thigh swivels exist because the range for human hips to twist is greater because they don't require edges to hold the ball into the socket. So thigh swivels aren't anatomically incorrect as far as range is concerned, they're just in the wrong place.
