Collect anything other than toys?
I got a little bit into the disney pin thing recently.
I have a small video games collection (maybe like 60 games) that I only started 3 years ago. Also a decent manga one with about 1400 books.

Games, books, watches, statueshit, anime cels

i collect stickers, mainly because they come with some toys. anything unused goes in a sticker album, which is surprisingly hard to find
Guns.

I also got into Disney pin trading for a while
I collect vintage lunch boxes
I collect retro game stuff (I have like 30 consoles) and general merchandise. I really like soundtracks in particular.
Collect? Eh, i don't view any of my hobbies as a collection.
Collections are for boring people who only buy to have.
BDs/DVDs, video games, /tg/shit, comics, music, mostly fantasy/scifi books.
Video games, board games, vinyl and books

I'm relatively new here. Why does everyone hate statues. I understand it's against the rules, but in general, why does everyone hate them? I mean how often do we play with our articulated figures? They literally become statues since we just put them on the shelf for display.
i collect disney pins

I play with mine pretty much everyday, plus when I put them back its always in new poses.
I don't hate statues but I don't buy them unless the point of it is that it's a monument kind of statue

I'd love to start collecting Disney Park pins but my god I simply can't spend that much money on pins.
I have a pretty strong 3ds collection but other than that general nintendo stuff. I also collected the Playmates World of Springfield Simpsons figures in the 2000s if anyone remembers that line. I went through a massive Simpsons phase but have sold off most of it except my life size dancing chef homer

>play with them every day.
fucking lel. Just saying it how it is: you're probably pathetic. I don't know why most people hate statues.. Statues are cool to me, if I could go back now I probably would've just bought a few high dollar statues instead of hundreds of figures.
Comics, kind of. It's not a very good assortment or anything. Just a handful of various trade volumes.

if what you want to talk about is NOT TOY RELATED
this is NOT THE PLACE to MAKE A POST
>>5401571
Yeah, statues tend to always look better
I do enjoy changing poses once in a blue moon but statues are also easier to clean/dust/hotglue
>>5401610
oh come on mom, we're just having fun
Be careful with the pins. They lead down a dark path.

The house is on fire and you only have time to grab one, what do?
>>5394450
I come from /v/ and I got a shit load of physical games, old and new. I barely got into figure collecting since I'm interested in DBZ, Star Wars, and Video Game Series that don't really get a ton of merchandise so I look out for it here.

Get out, Sarah Hyland
>>5394450
But do you have Fatov?
>>5394450
I collect little logs from various trees, mostly ones that have been split by axe. Occasionally, I'll get ones that survived a fire with minor burns, or ones that have some damage from woodpeckers.
I also collect walking sticks, but that's because everyone I know has back problems and sometimes asks me for one when they're in my house and they forget theirs. I believe they're doing it deliberately.
I have a mini collection of bottle caps, and ever since Fallout 4 came out, my nephews have been sending me questions about how to start one. I told them to start drinking.

>on a toy board making fun of people for playing with toys.
Not only are you pathetic, but also an idiot. Congrats.
I collect rocks and metals.
>>5405099
What're those weird tron-squareish ones?
>>5405101
Its a metal. Bismuth. My favorite one. I have 3 pieces of it right now. I also have part of a meteor i got for Christmas a couple years back.
>>5405099
hey, me too!
>>5405133
Im mad jelly about the bismuth. Its a nice one. Here is cosmos holding my meteor.
>>5405101
>not knowing about MOTHERFUCKING BISMUTH
NATURAL 90 DEGREE ANGLES SON
>>5394450
thats funny. i was just talking about that with a (female) friend today. didn't know it was a thing. how long do they exist?
>>5403162
That's a really tough call. Probably my US Property Colt 1903 since it is rather valuable and I inherited it from my uncle.
I don't know what is wrong with me but I've always love collector type hobbies. I feel like a hoarder sometimes. Sorry for including my /toy/ stuff as well, but please send help I'm going to die in my house when it collapses inwards from all this stuff.
Things I currently collect for
>nendos
>amiibos
>retro video
>j-fash/lolita
>any nintendo toys
>sylvanian families/calico critters
Things I want to start collecting for
>polly pockets/star castle
>pinkie street
>novi stars
>>5410677
I've wanted to get into Calico Critters but those prices are a pain in the ass.
>>5410861
The prices can be steep. I usually only buy the furniture sets instead of the houses and I've often bought them with TRU gift cards I've received. If you also collect nendos they are a perfect scale for them and it can be really fun setting them up with the furniture.
The quality is definitely there. Any time there is a cupboard door or a drawer, it opens. And things that would have removable lids irl often do in the Calico Critters set.
I collect debts
Nazi memorbilia and black metal records and tapes.
I used to collect Pennies, and have quite a collection: 2006 (when I stopped) to 1959 complete. Oldest I have is 1944. I bet I have 2007 to 2015 in my coin jar, I'll go check. I wasn't a serious collector, but it was a nice hobby at the time.
