Sphero Beebee is actually pretty neat. If you enjoyed the character, picking that up wouldn't be a waste of money.

This was my main issue with the toy. I don't own a cell phone so I'd have no way of playing with it. Why didn't they just include a remote control with it and made the whole app thing optional?

im pretty sure my gf got my Sphero's BB8 for christmas. Does anyone here have it, who could tell me..what does the package feel like when you shake it? Do the contents of the package shift at all.

It's packed with foam that has a cut out to hold sphero, his head, his stand, and a box that holds his cord. The only movement you'd hear would be the cord inside the box because everything else is squeezed into their foam cutout spots.

Back in my day, we used to talk to people face to face, IN PERSON.
We also had more time to ourselves, instead of word needing to call us at a moment's notice.
And you know what? We weren't obsessed about needing to tell everyone every little triviality that we do about it to a bunch of nobodies.
I don't know about your shitty state, but in my area, we have call boxes everywhere and our homes all have landlines. Emergency calls are easy to make.
