Myself, I recently picked up the Ygritte figurine from Game of Thrones for $12 AUD which was good considering I can't really find it anywhere else. I'd like to get the Vincent and Jules figures from the Pulp Fiction collection and I'd also like to see some Fight Club, Indiana Jones, Mad Max or Die Hard figurines get made. Stannis from Game of Thrones is one I'd like as well. I need to find more space though.

Buddy got me Ant-Man and Antony for Zombie Jesus Day. One of the handlebars snapped off almost immediately, but super glue worked fine. Overall it's pretty cool, aside from the flimsy handlebars.

Secretly hoping the Twilight line has a werewolf just because their animals look normal.

Totally worth the $17.98 I made them change it to. Jabba's fantastic, Salacious is cute, and Leia can't stay upright for shit. I love that they had the foresight to include a throne, even if it is cardboard. Better than Hasbro even bothered to do.

Don't leave them in the box, the whole point of buying them is so that you can take them out and look at them. Unless you want to stack them, there's no point keeping them in the box. What I do though is I keep the boxes in my shed so that if I want to sell them for whatever reason, I can just stick them back in the box and sell to make them a bit more marketable for resale. But these things are hardly gonna be worth millions in 5 years time so take them out and enjoy them anon.

I think I figured out why so many keep the boxes. I don't own any myself, but I've seen so many collections and reviews on them I think I get it. There are probably a lot that do it for the 'collector' value, but:

>easy to put a figure in and out of
>take up nearly the same volume as the figure would
People just keep the boxes to store them easier. The heads take up so much volume, even though the bodies themselves only require the space of like 2 or 3 Lego minifigures.

I went back to mine a few days and now they only have the Imperial guards, not even the Snowtrooper I passed up. They've never had the TFA figures in stock to my knowledge.
I did get a couple of the WWE Mystery Minis though. I got Andre the Giant and George "The Animal" Steele, both of which are favorites of mine, so it turned out okay. I think the only figures in the set that I'd legitimately be disappointed in getting would be the Bella twins.

I see these things all over the place now. I'm a wargamer so get the obsessive collecting of things, but what do you guys see in these weird disproportionate bobbleheads?
They have released so many lines now it must be impossible to collect every single one, doesn't that annoy you as collectors?
And they come and store in cube boxes, doesn't that take up a hell of a lot of space by the Tim you have 50/100+. They're not even interactive like Lego, or an action figure, they just sit there in the box.
I have a NEET fb friend who spends his welfare cheques religiously on these figures then complains about not being able to afford food etc. it's obsessive

Thinking of starting up a subscription box, mostly for pops. Which would you guys recommend for pops? It's a toss up right now between Lootcrate, Marvel Collector Corp, Smuggler's Bounty, and Pop in a Box.

If you are into Marvel or Star Wars I would get Collector Corps or Smuggler's Bounty. Lootcrate is ok, but doesn't always have a pop in it, so I would just subscribe to their newsletter or whatever so you know when to order the boxes that has a pop in them. Pop is a box is a cool idea idea and its cheaper than the others and you don't get any of the other crap, but its just pops you can buy in the store, not exclusives. So I guess it just it just boils down what stuff you are interested in the most.

So where do you guys find your exclusive variants and chases? I know there are wwalgreens, target, etc. exclusives. But where do you shop?
I live in a town with a target, walgreens, hot topic, vintage stock and a couple local comic shops, but I can't really find any rare variants anywhere and I want to find them in stores instead of ordering them online if ever possible.
I'm also moving to a small town with only one comic shop and shitty retailer selection, so I may be fucked, but I'll be an hour outside a major city tons of stores, I just need store selection.

I've not been able to expand my collection for a few months simply because I ran out of shelf space and couldn't rationalize buying more... But then I got like 7 for Christmas... And we got a bookshelf... So now the collection is on again I guess.

at pretty much all those stores you listed, it just varies from store to store. Lucky for me I live near an outlet mall that has a Hot Topic and they get a lot more inventory than other stores.
When can I expect the next Star Wars wave to be available? Looking for a Sidon ithano and missed the Hot Topic website sale. Have they even hit physical HT stores?

I stopped shopping in physical hot topic stores. All of the employees are complete assholes and people who buy in bulk to flip are on a automatic pull list. So stuff is gone as it comes in.
The only chase figure I have ever found in a store was a batman in Kohls. And that was only because they stocked them 2 christmases ago, kind of a one off thing.
I also like to shop at antique stores. One by me has a small vendor that maybe has like 10 pops at any given time. They are all 5 dollars each. Havent seen any super rare ones though. There used to be a gollum, but i think the owner pulled it the day the price spiked
Hot Topic shipping is so damn slow. Like, you would have to go out of your way to find a shipping route this slow. My Star wars wave 2 stuff wont get here till the 14th, and it shipped a couple days ago. Its going from Georgia to california
