Never liked this character.
Good timing, I just got in my HLJ shipment and it had VAH Luffy in it so my interest in the line has climbed exponentially. Mihawk looks cool, as expected. Did they actually go and sculpt wrinkle details into the danged elbow joint or am I seeing things?
i got all of them but law. loving the line so far.
What's the scale on these? Would they fit in with figmas?

If you have that Franky, measure him and compare the size to the listed size of the VAH.
The line is good. I don't have Ace but Zoro's build is much sturdier and better than Law or Luffy. My only issue besides price is the scale of these are way off from each other. Zoro so much taller than Law is the most noticeable. I'm worried about Mihawk's size as he should be quite a bit taller than everybody so far (technically only a bit more than Law and Ace, but as they're both shorter than Zoro...).

Has there ever been an official OP size chart for their post-timeskip heights? I'd actually be really curious to see that one, especially if it highlights Nami and Robin's enormous bust size increase.

Don't think there's an official chart but all their stats have been revealed by Oda. And yes, the women's bust sizes as well. Look up whoever you're curious about in the One Piece wiki as a quick guide.
For example, Luffy is 5'8.5", Zoro is 5'11", Law is 6'3.75", Mihawk is 6'6".
But in figure form Zoro towers Law by a fair bit. Hopefully Mihawk is taller than him yet. Taller and lankier fits him vs the shorter and built Zoro (though in figure form he's tall and built).
Finally, to be fair, I don't think Oda himself always goes with exact scale, just generally. Like when Mihawk was standing next to Zoro he was only about a third of a head taller, which I'm doubtful will be the case in figure form.

I'd want to see it happen based on her slutty as hell design, but in reality she's basically now a Vivi-tier background character so that takes down her appeal from a manufacturing perspective I'm sure. Sabo, Hancock, Law, and Mihawk are going to be relevant to the direct story for a while, so their figures are pretty well justified.

I bought Zoro, since it's the first fucking figure he's ever had, to my knowledge.
And he's pretty okay. Hands are loose on the swords, which is weird. Head is really tight on the connector, sometimes pulls the pin out with the head instead of leaving it in the neck, and I have to separate them with pliers. One of his shoulders was stiff as fuck at first, but it's loosened now.
I'm not a huge fan of the skirt thing, much prefer regular pants on Zoro, but it does have pretty great articulation in the legs anyway. And once you get him all set up, he looks killer. Great sculpt.
I just wish he was smaller, pre-timeskip design, and had more ab crunch. But still a decent fig. I'm waiting on a Sanji, not interested in Nami or Mihawk.

He's had other figures in the past, just not as intricate as the VAH.
Almost all of the Strawhat crew have had at least one articulated figure at some point. The only exceptions seem to be Robin and Brook.

Even some of the villains have had figures, albeit some were gimmick ridden. Kuro and Don Krieg got made back when 4Kids had the license and they even had an Arlong planned but it got scrapped along with a few other stuff.
I know Buggy has had at least two figures as well, both from non-English sources. Apart from that, articulated OP figures seem to be a rarity which is amazing considering the popularity of the series.

In theory, this is really fucking cool--I love that he has the option for bandana/no bandana as well as his complete Alabasta outfit. Not so cool: his Alabasta sleeves look pre-posed, and of course, that sculpt is hideous in general.

Yeah, Zoro isn't the best when it comes to that specific line of figures. If I had to pick a winner, if would probably go to the Usopp and Chopper 2 pack.
Do you think Bandai will restart making real action figures for One Piece?
I ordered the VAH Luffy figure and the Figuarts Zero Red Hawk Luffy, but I'd like a S.H. Figuarts of post time-skip Luffy.

You know what? You're right, I was thinking about the Sabaody arc right after Thriller Bark, not Fishman Island. Duval's whole thing was one of the funniest moments of One Piece, and of course there's the mermaid bodily function questions. It's the best comedic run thus far.

Huh, near Nightmare Luffy.
Just got my Sabo in yesterday, the head with the hat has a decent gap between the two hair pieces and the neck doesn't turn very far to the sides, but other than that it's pretty nice.

Just opened up my VAH Luffy that I posted in >>5330349 and god damn is it an awesome figure. It might even be one of the best figures I've bought all year. One thing that I did immediately after opening it was pop apart the torso and remove the yellow sash. Right out of the box I could already see the yellow starting to ever so slightly chip so I'm just going to do without.
I'm also beginning to make plans for some scratch-built stretched limbs to add some flavor.

P'Od Mihawk. I want a Zoro to go with him, but I honestly don't like his shirtless look from the Fishman Island arc. Hopefully at some point they'll make all the SH in their pre-Timeskip look. I do wish we could get other villains like Crocodile or Leopard Lucci down the line.
