Not too difficult. The vest was kind of hard, but easy enough to use the connectors if you have long nails or tweezers. Same with the boots. They come already equipped, but you have to tuck the pants into the boots yourself. I used tweezers to tuck the cloth in.
Other than that it was mostly just equipping the elbow/knee pads and attaching clips to the belt.

PAK has a spotty record, but their newer figures are pretty nice if you don't mind the price and aren't too concerned with scale. I'm the proud owner of several great PAK figures.
