Since I was prompted, I got off my lazy butt and did the cutting for Fierce Deity mask. I've got a Kid Link back home that it should fit on just fine. It still needs a bit of work on the hair and a lot of repainting, but it'll do just fine.
Also, thank goodness I had some rubbing alcohol on hand. I did a dumbass thing and tried using a blue sharpie to draw on the V marking on the forehead, it looked awful. There's still a slight blue on there, but it'll be covered with proper paint one day.

A list of what I did:
-Carve her pelvis so that the grey's all gone. Gives her thighs much more room and also she's got grey on the inside of her thighs anyways.
-Carve the cup for the waist balljoint so she has more room to lean forward/back. Careful with that though, as the glue or whatever they used to seal her is shit, you may want to just carefully pop those apart and reglue them after. There are also friction pads that can fall out if you aren't careful.
-Put Revoltech or similar joints into her shoulders. Gives her a great deal more options.
I'm also thinking of putting a joint to replace her neck so she gets better range, and I need to figure out what to do with her left hand.

Not happening, 6" size class is having distribution issues like crazy, and they've said they want to try and provide scale across the various lines. That's not to say you're getting nothing, at one point they planned a 4" Skull Kid, though I'm not sure if that's still in the works.

No, Jakks Skyward Sword Link is a 4" figure with the following articulation breakdown, direction is head-to-toe with arms at sides:
-balljoint neck
-swivel-hinge shoulders
-swivel-hinge-swivel elbows
-swivel-hinge wrists(motion is into palm/back of hand, right hand is tilted so he can point his sword)
-swivel waist(that can almost function as a balljoint, but isn't)
-swivel-hinge hips(skirt needs some minor cuts for full range)
-hinge-swivel knees
-balljoint ankles
Samus is almost as impressive, but her shoulders and restricted hips make her sub-par. Fox is alright, but closed fists. Mario figures are decent, but on the lower end the less human-shaped they are. See OP for 4" Sheik, and we're getting an Ocarina Link with as good or nearly as good articulation as Skyward.

Majora's Mask Skull Kid already has a 2.5", 3 PoA figure. That's about the right size for 1:18. A 4" figure, as I said, was mentioned a while back, but I don't think we've seen a physical version.
Deku Link has a 2.5", I don't know what its PoA are, but I would assume either 3(the typical standard for their 2.5" line) or 1(like the Pikmin).
Ocarina adult Link is confirmed, but I've not heard anything about a Young Link.
Goron/Zora Link have nothing slated, but it's possible.
Epona's likely only possible if they do a Deluxe set pairing her with a Link. No guarantees even that she'd be Ocarina/Majora's Mask and not Twilight Princess.

UKfag here. Don't own Mewtwo but go into GAME often, and I've caught myself taking a look at him once or twice. Quality seems great - though seeing as Mewtwo is pretty much one uniform colour besides his tail (which is probably a different assembly piece) and his eyes, I struggle to see where Nintendo could have gone wrong.

Just wanted to give a little update. I've been emailing back and forth with Scott all afternoon. I had a question about the general time line of releases, since we haven't seen the SDCC figures come onto shelves at all, and it basically turned into an entire conversation about toy distribution. Here are the cliff notes.
>All the figures that have been shown of at SDCC and otherwise are ready to go, just waiting on orders from retailers before starting production
>Since there is no on shelf date for toys, new waves will only come out once old waves start selling through.
>The only way to expediate new waves is to buy shelfwarming stock

So basically buy what you can so we can all get stuff faster.
Besides that there is nothing we can really do and we'll have to continue submitting to scalpers on eBay and ToyWiz or get nothing.

The other thing we can do is network between our stores and help move along stock. For example, my TRU has two Foxes sitting on the pegs last I checked. I could easily ship those to someone who wants to buy them.
