Hardhead and Skullcruncher are the winners here. Big time.
After seeing Hasbros hard head have no interest in the FP offering. Also looking at skullcrunchers pic again I wonder of that green thing on top of the tail gun could be used as a sword handle. It looks like it can flip.
This is so refreshing after combiner wars, yet what i'm most excited for is the possible Minerva repaint from Nightbeat.

I really think that's cool, and I hope that's what they are. One thing I was disappointed with was that there wasn't any random limbs for Combiner Wars. Everyone had a set team. I mean, there's Alpha Bravo and Off-Road, but what can you do with just 2 guys, of 2 different factions? How about some Sweeps, or Vehicons?
So I'd love to see random heads that can hop on to different bodies. Especially if they're sold at a legends price point, I'll buy them.

yeah they would be fun. Honestly I just own 2 G1 headmasters at the moment and I got Snapdragon coming from Ebay a few weeks from now an I am already enjoying switching around the heads. Too bad they don't have the stat gimmick cause that is what makes switching the G1 heads fun.

Looks like a ball-jointed neck to me. Brainstorm's was also only fragile because of the fuckups at the factory. The second run with a rubber band holding the neck in place didn't really have breakage issues.

This. Even on MP Bumblebee, there was no reason not to have flaps to cover the gap where the fist folds out. Or do it like Terradive, where the entire forearm is a hinged box. Shit, the way his arms fold under his rear, they could have even given MPBB 90º wizard sleeve hinges for his hands and it would have been fine. Or at least done like Knockout and put the hands on a ball joint that can fold all the way out, so if you have to have a shitty hollow forearm at least you got articulated wrists out of the deal.

Look at it like this, combiner wars ties in with the IDW comic series with a few creative liberties, thing is they've covered head masters before, look where it got sunstreaker.
And now they finally give us a decent voyager blaster...as a headmaster and a simerlar treatment with galvatron...but with a shitty head gimmick, I hope to god they don't tie this into the comics or else we'll see more alpha bravo kinda bullshit.
