I just hope some larger titans bring along some good technic heavy builds. Ccbs is alright, but it works best with technic,not devoid of it.
Also, why are Kopaka and Tahu 20$ each? Onua I get with 108 pieces, but Tahu has 89, only two more than Gali.
And the protectors have about 70 pieces each... so 10$ feels right.

No, it just perplexes me that LoSS is a set with 145 pieces for 15$, when Pohatu has 66 pieces for the same price. One of these sets is clearly a better deal in terms of how much plastic you get.
I'm curious as to their rarionale -- are they charging more for Kopaka, Tahu, and Onua just because they were popular in G1 and in group testing? It doesn't seem to be based on piece count at all.
I'd rather the 10 cents a piece pricing they usually do for brick sets, but I understand ccbs and technic parts are generally larger and cost more to make, but LoSS follows the 10c/part pricing closely, where Pohatu is ~22 cents per piece.

LOSS uses a lot of tiny, cheap technic pieces, whereas Tahu uses a lot of huge, expensive CCBS plates. While he does have only two more pieces than Gali does, the average size and cost of his pieces is a bit higher than hers.

However, 44015 Evo Walker from the first wave also contains some really good parts.
Rocka Crawler and Evo Walker both contain good mech parts, but Rocka Crawler contains fewer bone pieces. It instead has the fun kaiju egg and the very versatile small torso piece, also used in next year's Protectors.
Evo Walker includes some useful bone pieces, including the double-socket and the 1x3 Technic beam w/ ball. No torso, but it comes with two more jumper beasts than Rocka.
