I was actually thinking of trying to build something like this. I thought about using some tough but thin white tagboard or wood and then gluing thin strips along it to get it that little extra texture like pic related. I've never really built anything, but I figure even I can manage to nail some walls to a base and attach the strips and pegs to pretty it up.

Amazon, or any DIY electronics store will carry them.
>>4490865
Paperclips are just about the perfect size and pretty pliable but you'll probably need some wire snips and needle nose pliers. Possibly some dabs of superglue if they aren't a snug fit. I haven't made mine yet but that's my plan. Or, you know, you could solder them from the backside if you're capable.

>>4490876
Now that I think about it, you wouldn't even need to solder them. You could just dab a glob of glue or putty on the back end of the wire to make it thick enough not to pass through. That way you could slide them out the back and rearrange the weapons if need be.

Semi on topic, anyone happen to know where one would obtain a decent sculpt of an FN P-90 for 6-inch scale figures? The only one I've ever seen was included with the Figma Henrietta from Gunslinger Girls.
>>
>>4491425
Been there. Picked up those Ban on Eva statueshits just for the weapons and ammo cans. The figures themselves will probably just end up in the trash. Still cheaper than buying a few Little Armory sets and painting them to look nice so I'm cool with that.

Expensive and not very well done for the most part, being resin casts and all. The LA and Platz options are injection molded like a proper kit.

And if we want to include sillier things like rayguns, there's Okabe, Scarlet Rain, Kos-Mos, and T-elios. And Reika from Gantz with her almost realistic looking gatz. And Aigis: The ULTIMATE ver. with her assorted addons. Think that covers it all. Probably not though.

Stepping outside the realm of 100% realism:

Kotobukiya's weapon units are generally meant for use by 5-7 inch figures, mostly mecha but general use as well. The OP pic has four of their larger guns on the stand. Personally, my favorite gun of theirs is the revolver from their handgun set, a threepack that also came with a semi-automatic and an SMG. It's the perfect size and shape to be paired with Revoltech Vash's default revolver, letting him dual-wield. I'm also quite fond of their wind-up minigun and likewise wind up chainsaw (with real chain action)

That's Murmeltiers head on a "ban on invasion" Asuka Sega Prize figure. Trash figure but comes with some nice prepainted 1/12ish weapons and ammo can for what you'd pay for a little armory kit. Rei comes with other weapons. the is the only way to get guns for Transformers. other than Shapeways, I have never seen any third parties that sell weapons with 3mm pegs, for TFs
>>
>>4501859
A simple way to more or less make any gun fit a TF is to find a 3mm thick post you can cut to your preferred length and just glue it to the gun you want your TF to have. In pic related, Hound is holding a gun that actually game with a G.I. Joe, all I did was cut off the old handle...and some excess off the back that got in the way and glued on a plastic peg. Once it fully dries it's more or less a permanent fixture, but if you want to add extra security so it don't break you can always drill in a small piece of paper clip or something.

Also, Landmine is holding a Kotobukiya weapon unit...but his hands are pretty unique.

>>4501349
The only problems I have with those guns is that their details are kind of muddy and some of them can cause a hand to permanently over stretch. Shaving down the handles some can help with the first issue though. But for what you pay for em, they're great little guns and accessories.

I wish there was a vendor like this for 1/12, or that Marauder would branch out. Nice to see stuff like Little Armory popping up though.

-What scale should I be looking for for Marvel Legends?
-Any good suppliers?
-Do Kotobukiya stuff works?

Pic related, its who I'm looking guns for.

These are great for weapons.

In fact, that company sells different weapon packs that you can find sometimes at Big Lots. I found a bunch last year around this time when they started to stock a lot of toys for the holidays. They have a great mini-gun set that looks awesome with ML figures.

Sorry no pics.
>>

SHit! I just got that one off ebay for a good but more!

The big rifle is pretty nice. Forget the name, but it is esentially a .57 caliber rifle.

The Rei ones are nice. The main one has an RPG, and the alternate has an MG42

Kind of large since they are for 12inch figures but these are the most detailed miniature guns I've found. They go with the soldier story line of 12inch figures. All the attachments are remove able. The gun has a working charging handle and mock bolt , working dust cover. The receivers and handguardsveven fully break down. A bit pricey for a small gun ($30) but they fit gundams and I love m4s.
