I'm perfectly willing to hear any suggestions for things you'd wish to see in a jump, but you should know that they may come out different than you expected, or be chopped up and used as fodder for something else. Anyway, I'm at least in favor of brainstorming.

There are like three different anons who will pipe up to defend rats should someone stoop to insulting them. I'm one of them.
>>
>>44382780
Fluffy. Association with the night and moon.

Other animals I commonly go with are the wolf and the snake. I've also gone with spider more than once. Circumstances more than taste and choice have also made me a rabbit many, many times. It's a bit eclectic, don't ask me if all these animals can create a coherent theme. Snake especially interferes.

So, question about the GUNNM jump. In order to get the best out either Berserker or Karma Chameleon, you need to have Karmatron Dynamics, right? Is either of those fully maxed worth the 1800cp cost it would take? Or am I doing some math really wrong?
>>
>>44382687
Given that the last page (the postscript after inFamous) states

>You gain complete control over your abilities. You can hold things without fear of encasing them in stone/frying them.

Is there any out of Jump use for the perk 'Toggle'?
>Mentally turn off your Conduit powers at will. No need to focus on not breaking your stuff.

If the perk text didn't mention Conduit powers I'd grab it in an instant for the ability to turn powers on or off at will- I can see how that'd be handy. I'm still debating purchasing it just for the in Jump application (Conduit powers are hard to hide, yo) but hoping you all have some insight.
>>
>>44383280
Nope. Conduit was one of the first, so it can be wonky.

25. Santa Jump
Origin: Drop-In, Age: 19
Location: North Pole
Perks: Holly Jolly Criminal, All In A Single Night, Toy Making (-100), Naughty or Nice (-100), Spreading the Cheer (-300), Magic Toys (-600)
Items: Santa Suit, Magic Sack, The List, Workshop, Elves, Book of Carols, Warehouse Upgrade
Drawbacks: Job Hazard (+100)

Chill at the North Pole taking care of industrious child-like elves and handing out presents. This is nice. Like, really nice. Making toys and giving out toys and reading Santa Mail and everything is just like... I'm going to cry. Not sad cry, but wow.

I need a minute when this jump ends. Maybe a few. I'm honestly going to consider staying.

It's nanomachines. Unless you're fluffing yourself as something technorganic, and there are perks to make it so, strict genetics won't do much.

Which actually kind of sucks for her, because she doesn't gain her speed through any sort of physics warping like your average comic speedster does. She actually has the massive amount of kinetic energy and momentum that would accompany moving at those speeds, makes it really hard to actually do anything. She can't touch anything without vaporizing it, and since that includes the ground it makes it really hard for her to turn.

For the guy in the last thread, no, you won't get a Sprite if you took a different race. They're only issued to Knights, so you'll have to find some way to purchase one.

In the Auction House. I'd rethink that decision if I were you, they're ludicrously expensive. Think a million crowns. For reference, a normal level gives a thousand, and the entire firestorm citadel grants ten thousand.

Also, your plan is heavily dependent on binding mechanics not existing. I didn't want to touch them in the jump, but if they do in your version of the jump, which would be closest to canon, be prepared to need a lot of capital.

You can't buy Gae Bolg without being someone who, in mythology, wielded Gae Bolg. You could buy a NP that did the same thing, in which case that spear would be part of your legend where you are famous for using it.

>be prepared to need a lot of capital.

I've specialized in large scale engineering in previous jumps, and part of that included asteroid mining. I was already planning on offering the Knights heaps of raw materials they will need to fix their ship, so that should cover most of my expenses.

Hell, I have access to an ACU! For "favors" I'd be willing to build the Knights some brand new warships. I doubt they'd have the cash on hand to pay for a new dreadnought, so I'll offer them something like: copies of all their technical blueprints in exchange for six top-of-the line semi-automated, fully-equipped battleships.

If the Knights are truly in need of a means of defeating some nebulous foe, I'd say a few freebies would be drops in the bucked compared to a fully armed fleet of horrifically overpowered warships.

Would that work? I figure with enough incentive they'll be throwing free things my way, if only to get free warships out of the deal.

I am not Reploid, but I HAVE played Spiral Knights, and I can tell you that that is a semi-viable strategy. Spiral Knights has a massive inflation due to player commerce, just like all online games. It's only held in check by the constant need for crystal energy, which costs real actual money to create and hovers in more or less the same area of value among players in terms of crowns (~6-11K per 100CE).

If we're assuming, as Reploid is, that the inflation and auctions carry over, you can absolutely turn this against the world and charge exorbitant prices for rare and valuable commodities. The problem is figuring out what people actually WANT, and not pricing so ridiculously that people decide they don't quite want it that badly.
High level equipment tends not to sell super well unless it's super unique and crazy difficult to actually acquire. Vanity items like ribbons and fake tails fly off the shelves -- that's how I'm saying I funded my expeditions into the Clockworks.
A barter system like "I'll build you super awesome shit in exchange for all your tech" would totally work, although you'll probably have to find what passes for leadership and then prove that you're able to do what you say. Spiral Knights, even NPCs, are more into doing than talking. I mean, talking is fine, they'll do that, but actions speak louder, right? But if you can prove you're a capable doer, they will be so, so happy to snap your stuff up.

Thanks for the input!

I figure I'll start off by gifting the Knight high command a free cruiser, and once they're done salivating over what it can do, I'll offer them a full on battle fleet, signed and delivered within a month.

All I'd ask in return would be full access to their technical blueprints and any gear I want.

That way I get all my shiny bits and bobs, and they get a fleet or two to help reclaim their home world. Everybody wins.

After the Knights fly off to fight whoever, I'll be free enact a coup within the Gremlin forces and put them on a better path. A united Gremlin race, free from the tyranny and insanity of the Crimson Order, should be able to fight off the Swarm and keep the Core safe.

Thank you! Here are some completely random scenarios you might be able to use somehow.

Rather than beginning in your location in the present day, you begin in your location during the beginning of the Invisible War, which will take place during your 10 year stay. If you don't actively fight for the Peerage, they'll lose this time. Enjoy having to wipe out all traces of Lemuria from every parallel dimension, Bardo, Automata backup, and Prostasia infused bunker in existence. As the scrappy resistance, no less.

Alternatively, you begin in the present day as normal, but your goal is to get mankind back on track for the technological timeline Lemuria set several years ago. That could mean advancing technology hundreds of years and knocking some other advancements out of existence. Good luck with that moon base. The Werewolves don't like people fucking with the moon.

Whether you picked Mane or not, your life is now tied to the existence of a somewhat failing Bardo. To survive, you must either fuel disbelief such that your Bardo becomes healthy again (without the Hunters or Peerage finding out what you're doing) or transfer everyone from your Bardo over to the real world like King Radical in Dr. McNinja. If neither of these things happen, your Bardo dies at the end of your 10 years and your chain is over.

You must achieve one of those goals that no Genius has ever succeeded at, like securely ruling the world or proving the entire scientific community wrong. You can be creative in how you do it, because a diplomatic or culture victory is still a victory, but you need to objectively have achieved that goal. Can't be combined with seeking the Needle Grail.

Requiem and Awakened are varying levels of Stands that we've seen very, very few examples of and there's no real guideline besides what JoJo tried to hammer out to prevent abuse.

Let me guess you're going to give yourself Golden Experience Requiem.
>>
>>44386112
they have to do with getting stabbed by an ancient arrow that gives stand powers to those with strong willpower
if someone isnt "compatible" then they die
if a stand user is stabbed, their stand is awakened and they get more abilities, only 1 was ever shown
if a stand itself is stabbed, it evolves into a stronger/better one with different abilities
>>
>>44386088
A Stand is a metaphysical construct formed from your spirit. Every Stand is unique, meaning it's hard to generalize about them, but there are some common traits. Firstly, being part of your spirit means that they can interact with other spiritual entities. For the most part this is only significant to the story in the sense that only a Stand can directly fight another Stand, though we do see that they can interact with ghosts. Secondly, the more powerful your Stand is, the smaller the range it can wander from your body is and the more damage you'll take when it is itself damaged. Remote Stands can travel really far away from you and don't reflect damage, but they're very weak. Punch ghost type Stands are strong as hell, but can't get more than a few meters from you and cause you to take damage just like they do (though they're usually more durable than a human is, so they will take less damage from any given attack).

>>44386112
Awakening and Requiems are things that aren't very well supported by the series itself, but were included for the sake of more options. In the series itself we see some similar things, but they're so few in number that it's impossible to draw conclusions on the normal effect of them. For purposes of the jump, Awakening gives a new power to the Stand while Requiem gives a massive power boost to what it could already do. You Awaken a Stand by scratching yourself with one of the Arrowheads, and you make a Stand a Requiem by fusing one of the Arrowheads to it.
>>
>>44386112
OKAY SO

We've only seen two Requiems so far and one of them is just Maximum Plot Armor- uh, I mean Gold Experience Requiem.

The other one, Chariot Requiem, is a lot tamer power-wise, but it's also weird and independent of Polnareff.

Basically, you shouldn't even really need Requiems for anything. If you have to poke your Stand into a Requiem, you've got bigger problems.

As for Awakened, I dunno what even.
>>
>>44386143
Scratching with the arrowheads does run the risk of your stand to try and kill you.
>>

>>
It's a shame nobody has mentioned that you can develop a stand on your own. You don't need anything special, though techniques like Hamon and Spin actually culminate in you developing a themed stand.
>>
>>44386219
So if I chose to take hamon and the spin instead of a stand I'd develop one ? And if I already have a stand how would the spin and ripple effect it ?
>>
>>44386219
True. The Arrowhead is the easiest way to get a Stand, but anyone can have one if their spirit becomes strong enough. For example, in Part 4 there's a character who developed a Stand out of his transcendent passion for cooking, letting him heal anyone who eats his food. Or, in a more extreme example, Part 7 shows us that Jesus Christ himself had a Stand, one that was exceptionally powerful due to the whole messiah thing.
>>
>>44386262
Yes, but sadly, Hermit Purple is the Hamon stand, and Hermit Purple is awful.
>>
>>44386157
How physically strong are stands? Jojo's pretty late in my chain, so if my willpower perks and sheer time spent as a shonen hero isn't enough I might just be able to ignore it trying to kill me. Unless of course it can use some conceptual BS to try to kill me, might need to play it safe if that's a risk.
>>
>>44386279
What's the Spin Stand, and are all the Hamon and Spin Stands the same?
>>
>>44386290
Look at Steel Ball Run.
>>
>>44386262
You'd have the potential to develop a Stand, though no guarantee that you'd manage it. Then again, you're a Jumper, you've got plenty of time to figure it out. And if you had a Stand and learned Hamon or Spin you'd be able to channel them through the Stand, possibly with enhanced effects brought about by combining the concepts. Tusk starts out with just shooting spinning cutter claws, but extends that to include the Spin's relationship to geometry to warp space.

>>44386290
They are not. Hermit Purple is the only Stand we've seen used by someone with Hamon, though. And it's not that bad. Not as strong as other Stands, but it's got a lot of useful utility features.
>>
>>44386280
Stands can vary wildly in power, ability, and capacity for use.

>>44386290
Spin Stands you have Ball Breaker and Tusk, so I'm not getting why Anon says you only get one from Hamon.
>>
>>44386302
Hermit Purple is probably the worst stand that's not a oneoff joke.
>>
>>44386279
>extending thorns to let you use Hamon at range
>practically limitless scrying
>the controller trick

In the hands of someone clever (not smart, CLEVER, there's a difference), Hermit Purple could wreck some serious faces.

As for me, I needed the Arrowhead because you can't develop a Stand by training Vampire abilities.

Note: Stands have been noted to ignore every single rule this anon has listed.
There are stands that don't even manifest just have a power/effect
There are stands that have global targeting
There are stands that actually can and do act independant
There are stands that continue to live long after their users die
There are stands that can be destroyed without killing/affecting their user
There are even a stand that can damage the user as their gimmick (look up cheap trick)

Stands have guidelines not absolute hard rules.

Also Requiem and Awakened depends on which part is scratched with the arrow head. If a user with a stand is scratched the user gains a newer form and a unique new ability, If the stand is scratched the stand changes into a cooler form granting an inversed variant of their powers or completely unrelated one depends really
>>
>>44386280
Stands vary in pretty much ever respect person to person. However like hamon they are powered by your emotional strength/willpower and your physical abilities. So if you are stronger your stand will be stronger. However special effects likely won't grow in power quite the same as the stand's more physical abilities.
>>
>>44386280
Well, they're called "punch ghosts" for a reason. Stands tend to be pretty physically powerful. Not hugely so, though, so if you were durable enough for a superhero setting you could probably deal with it. However, your Stand might have some weird conceptual BS, that's always a risk with Stands. Sure, you're tough, but can you resist being turned into a dinosaur-shaped candelabra?

Depending on your location, there's an additional complication you need to worry about. Maybe if you started in Lemuria, they're gearing up for a second Invisible War and you need to stop them without kicking things off. If you're in the Martian Empire, that war they're planning starts in a week, and you need to covertly push the date back until your 10 years are up.

You're a member of the Guardians of Forever, and you are assigned the WORST jobs possible. Not in terms of cloning Hitler, but in terms of "fail and the timeline will end." Someone trying to ignite a nuclear war, Days of Future Past style. Someone trying to let the Cold Ones into the past, so they can eat everything. Sometimes it'll be a shot for shot remake of Timecop. Exactly, even though that makes no sense at all. You're pretty sure someone is just fucking with you at that point, but it's still your job. Get fired or let the world end and your Jump is over.

The Peerage and Lemuria generally don't care if Geniuses try to reveal their existence to the world, because that story is even less believable than the "Bill Murray in NYC" one. But what if people DID? That is your job for these 10 years. Irrefutably prove that Geniuses exist to most of Mortal society without ending the world or fucking over the other Supernaturals.

The Ghostbusters aren't the bad guys, right? Either as a Genius yourself or employing only supernaturals detailed in Genius: the Transgression (so Manes, Beholden, and Geniuses), you must form a Hunter Compact or Conspiracy that actually receives respect from most of the Hunter community rather than being seen as a "oWoD Men in Black" kind of thing. If you copy another Compact or Conspiracy you have to outdo them for this to count, so think before you compete with Cheiron. Although at least proof of concept for that one does exist. Veridian Dynamics made a profit somehow.[/spoiler]

>>44386359
>pathetic for pointing out that a guy always comes to throw a shitfit over Hermit Purple.

My second sentence is powered by alcohol due to Christmas bullshit, so I'll concede I went overboard there and should've reworded to 'just fucking avoid Hermit Purple.' Because it seriously happens.

But let me guess, you're going to continue the 'you're pathetic' train of thought.

Good lord. That's fucking terrifying.

>>44385887
That sounds like a pretty okay plan. Probably an uphill battle with the gremlins and swarm (they're very deeply entrenched), but doable for a jumper in ten years.

I can't totally guarantee that ALL the Spiral Knights would leave -- despite their dedication to getting off planet and rescuing their people, they do have what passes for scientists and some of them are genuinely interested or invested in the Clockworks. They're noble enough sorts that a few would probably stick around to try and "set things right", to boot.
But any remainder would be but a mere fraction of what was there before, and they'd be eternally grateful for your help with their problem. Probably any that stuck around would be willing to help you free the Gremlins and protect the Core, if that's what you were trying to do.

Anyway, sounds like it would make for a heroic story, regardless.

So I'm probably not going to have to worry about it, and even if I do unless I'm unlucky I should be able to withstand it's hissy fit. Out of curiosity if it can't kill its user, what does a Stand do? Will I have to kill it, can I kill it, and what happens if I kill my own Stand?
>>
>>44386421
If you can handle it, the stand won't try to kill you in the first place. It's a phenomenon that only happens to people who don't have the potential to handle a stand who get scratched by the arrow.

As for what your stand does, it depends. Again, some have no physical form. Some manifest as objects or the like, not something that acts on its own. Some are entirely slaved to your will and act as you like. Some have a personality of their own and thus you need it to work with you, depending on how it thinks. Some don't need you at all. It all varies.
>>
If I just go with using Spin and Ripple, could I develop a Stand that is a yoyo and helps with both?

I have no idea what it would do, but I'll think of something if it's possible.

If you have the fighting spirit and willpower to control your stand you survive and gain control of your stand, if you don't you die. There isn't a real fight.

>>
>>44386486
Neat. Guess I'll do that then. Maybe a pair of yoyo's that can either grind/twist/distort things or burn/blast/shove things depending on if I use them for Spin or Ripple. Multipurpose tools!

Awakening... AoE warps/sunblasts? Good enough.

What sort of ideas should I be looking at for a Requim with this Stand?

>>44386398
Whoa wait I forgot Clockstoppers in that last one, which could be really useful. You could go against other Geniuses (which no current conspiracy does) if you could harness them somehow.

Pick some huge, major, complicated issue in the world. Like world hunger, war, or something like that. You need to completely eradicate that issue AND KEEP IT ERADICATED for 10 years using Wonders. Despite all the Sin Eaters and Spirits that thrive off of death. Despite all the Hunter conspiracies siphoning the aid money. Despite all the other Geniuses using the orphans for parts. Again, you can be creative with this one. Try building exoskeletons for all the orphans. I hear that helps.

The Seattle of Tomorrow has long been an example of Lemuria's insanity. They really believed it wasn't a Bardo! Unfortunately for you, your success in the Jump /hinges/ on it not being a Bardo, something which requires a massive amount of Mania to accomplish (as seen in the possible future where the Martian Empire becomes real). You'll probably also want to clean it up a little, so you can give tours to prospective Mania donors, Generator salesmen, and other splats who want to make sure you're not planning anything evil.

This might be more of a drawback, but for some reason you just can't be left alone in the world. A Rogues Gallery of Geniuses, Hunters, and other Supernaturals that are somehow opposed to you seems to form up out of nowhere just for the purpose of fucking you over and destroying the world. Even a few good guys will try to screw with you if they think you're a threat, but that only lasts long enough for both of you to see the real threat that manipulated you into fighting. Make no mistake; there is no guarantee that you'll succeed, and even Batman has watched Gotham City burn to the ground a few times.
>>
>>44386643
So it's more that they possess yoyo's that I have rather than form as yoyo's? Could they possess other things or do such Stands only possess one type of thing?

Could it just be that this Stand does form as a pair of yoyo's? Is that a thing?
>>
>>44386710
I don't personally know of stands that manifest as just objects. The wiki might list some? It's not too far out there for sure.

>>

I saw that Tusks had that. Is that a standard feature for Spin Stands? The wiki doesn't have much on it, and only has one other stand with Acts (in the Stand Types page listed as Evolved Stands) and the other one doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Spin.

Might go with getting more discs in each act, and having interactions between discs, so the more discs I have the more interactions I can do, which covers the acts nicely.

Awakening can be the AoE that would also make the combination effects AoE or increase their AoE.

Requiem... The only thing that seems consistent here is that the new power is radically different from the old one, and is very powerful. Looks like it really could do anything, though I'd want to stick with the Spin/Ripple theme and can't make it too powerful (holy crap Gold Experience Requiem is insane! Through some kind of insane mix-up, your world is now populated by more than one fansplat. Specifically, Princesses and Leviathans. Your job is to keep your starting location safe from the unusually high number of threats that will come from all sides, including giant monsters, nightmarish darkness, and the occasional Lovecraftian threat from space. If your location is leveled or rendered uninhabitable, you lose the Jump.

Before the end of this Jump, you must discover the Exelixi cure for mortality. You know, the thing the girl in the opening of the book tried to do. It's not impossible with the right Custom Variables or anywhere near the Needle Grail, because everyone had to discover what the Axioms were capable of at some point right? The problem is that practically every Genius or person who knows anything about the Inspired will assume you're Illuminated and act accordingly. Clockstoppers will be especially interested in you, because you're DIRECTLY challenging the laws of nature.

Something something True Fae are bored, and Geniuses are new and exciting. Almost like they haven't been a part of the World of Darkness forever.

Technically you and your companions have always had the job of being entertaining, but now it's more personal. More immediate.

Nobody's going to harm you. You're their favorite television show. Their Protagonist. Their source of life-sustaining conflict. You'll even keep your free agency. Isn't that generous?

They're all smiles. A bunch of big teddy bears. They would never lay a finger on you.

Not so long as you keep things interesting.

I mostly asked because everyone gets the ability to use the Force for free in that jump.

Anyway I can think of the following things that might sort of work, depending on what you have available. Although you might not have any of the needed settings.

Option 1 - Get Sufficiently Analyzed Sorcery from Final Fantasy 8 and Universal Adaptor from Storm Hawks. Use the former to make Force para-magic and the later to try to make artificial Force energy.

Option 2 - Use Pact Maker from Changeling and try to make a Contract with The Force.

Option 3 - Use Job Offer from Dresden Files to get Force powers from one of those cosmic Force entities from the EU.

Option 4 - Have one of those power stealing perks like Data Drain from generic virtual world or Blue Magic from Final Fantasy 8.

Option 5 - Just have psychic powers (or things that look like it) and bluff everyone into thinking you can use some weird rare and hard to detect side of the Force.

Considering you need to specc for strength just to match him there, you're probably only going to be as fast as Raiden if you spec for speed.

You're not going to get a Metal Gear strength laser either, that's absurd.
>>
>>44388333
>>44388384
Raiden's not sonic levels of fast. He's only about as quick as Mistral or Sam. All his ridiculous cutscene bullshit is focused around strength. He also has Blade Mode, but that's not sustainable for long periods and doesn't allow him to move quickly from point A to point B. Speccing specifically for speed would probably bring you somewhere above Raiden.
That said there's not really any reference point for what speccing for "fast" would be comparable to, so it's unknown how "fast" you could be. Maybe you could run as fast as Blade Wolf, who knows.
You can't get a Metal Gear laser in your human-sized body, though, that's just stupid.

1.Raiden Is literally top-of-the-line in every way, MGR cyborg body Technology does not Exceed him. 2.OPM technology far exceeds MGR technology so wrong there as well. if you want something like that learn OPM technology possibly by simply scanning him with a mother box or something or learning MGR technology and doubling that down with miniaturization from worm

What jumps give you the power to turn people into candelabras?

Harry Potter.
FMA (Human Transmutation).

Anything above a medieval tech base is going to have metals too pure to use Metalbending on.

Unless you doubled up on Genius and most of the upgrades. That MIGHT let you mess with "purer" metals.
>>
>>44390084
The purity thing doesn't really pan out. Doesn't work on platinum but does on mercury, not like mercury'd be any less pure.

The whole thing is really inconsistent, maybe platinum is more pure in another sense and further removed from earth in terms of the stupid element system in setting.
>>
>>44390168
Since all the bendings depend on chi the breaking point is probably the ability to put your chi into it. As mercury absorbes into the human body easily it is probably considered unpure. So by purity what that really mean is pure of chi. Best guess from how the setting works.

That's more of a teleportation device. It's like a quantum tunneling generator that can send you just about anywhere so long as you can calculate your trajectory.

It forms temporary 2 way portals.
>>
>>44387921
Yes.

Temporary space bridge would be like a teleportation. Enough resources you can build a permanent one.

That should be fine without malleable reality I think.

So how do I get a hold of a Blue Feather in Wakfu? I was told it was a way to get canon characters as companions, but I haven't seen much of the show just enough to know that Evangeline is worthy of being a companion or played the game, and I seem unable to buy one directly from the Jump, so how do I get it?

...I'm now considering if I want to rip a PC out of the ground in Pokemon, carry it around with me for about 10 years, and then putting it in my Warehouse for the purpose of having more than my normal team.
Why I didn't think of this previously I have no idea.
>>
>>44393109

You know it'd probably be possible to make the PC into a laptop if you take both Technician and Mechanic then spend all ten years studying the pokemon storage system.

pick up Return in the warehouse to build your real team?

If you were going to take Return, there was no point in working on the portable version of the system since you could just chuck pokeballs and computers into the warehouse willy nilly.

A question about Captain Planet's Multi-Talented: If I start with Metal, then get Electricity, could I branch out to Radiation with a second purchase, or could only "branch" from my base element?

Basically, if I buy Multi-Talent multiple times, can I branch into related elements from the extra's I'd bought, or am I restricted to branching only from my base element?

I hope that makes sense.

Another question: if I have multiple elements, can my minions or golems contain all of them, or can they only have one element?

Last question: how smart are the Eco-Villians summonable minions at their base? Are we talking wolf or waddle-dee here?
>>
>>44393675
point, but...
holy shit I could get my team in under a year. Ash Ketchum managed to explore all 6 regions so far in less than that time, I can totally build a portable storage system for pokemon after I get my team, probably do it in less than 5 years too.

>second greatest trainer to ever live
He has never, ever beaten a Pokemon League. He's far from the second best. He's not even top 10.
>>
>>44393956
It doesn't take years of training for Pokemon to evolve and you can travel across the world relatively easily. Even if you want a team of pokemon from several different regions it shouldn't take you more than a couple of years.
>>
>>44393867
Depends, are you also a natural aura user, implied reincarnation of a legendary hero, pretty much on a first name basis with Pokemon Jesus and its clone, savior of the world several times over, and pretty much the one holding the fucking world together?

>>44393914
To be fair, Ash's journey length has been mentioned in a select few occasions in movie/episode translations into english (time has not been referenced directly in the japanese originals) that put him at 15-16 currently.
>>
>>44394035
It's a joke dude, getting a team isn't a problem. It's just the comparison to Ash, and that the series gets ridiculous.
>>
>>44394080
his feat of "travel the world in under a year" and "gather a pokemon team in said year" is what I'm after, not all the other protaganist shit.
>>
>>44394120

>>
>>44394196
Ash has never been good at actually training WITH his pokemon. You have martial artists and psychics training with their pokemon all the time and getting pokemon level tough, but ol' Ash has had both kinds of pokemon and he's never learned anything about fighting or brain power. Aura potential is wasted on him, he probably wouldn't even let his Lucario tutor him.

also I really hope this fusion shit isn't in the next game. ice dragon was bad enough.
