My country usually isn't out, but finland because I have residual love for selanne (Im from winnipeg, he's basically a god in this city). If not I'll usually root for the underdog.

Canada is #1 no question, but Russia hasn't won the Olympics in literally decades and they can only win the Memecup because all of their stars get booted out in the first round of the NHL playoffs. Their last Olympic gold is from the Soviet era when NHL players couldn't even participate and they can't even make the final game since 1998.
