Each square represents a period of time and how much the team was up/down by at that time. The number in the square is efficiency, using eFG% to adjust for threes. So with 24 seconds to go and down 1, Melo has an eFG% of 54.5%. League-average this season
(overall, not in the clutch) was 50%, league average in iso was something like 37-42%. Naturally, those numbers would go lower in clutch situations. The second graph is just the corresponding sample size for each of the squares in the upper graph.
