The youth system is fucked to the root: youth teams would rather go after niggers/foreigners cause their physical prowess puts them ahead of the curve for a while and they can either win them stuff at youth level or get sold for profit early on.
This leaves literally no room for young italian talents to develop properly.
Similarly, Serie A clubs would much rather sign foreigners and get results right now (or just cycle through a bunch of them on yearly basis, see kisnter and kekilan) than letting italian players grow among their ranks.
