Does anyone care about third place games in tournaments?
I'm hoping Klinnsman gives playing time to newer additions to the team like Pulisich, Nagbe, and Birmbaum.
There's no reason for him not to, it's basically a fucking friendly
It's a comfy filler and an opportunity to get sentimental and reflective of the tournament.

Yeah but what if >your team is playing

doesn't the team who gets 3rd get more money and accolades than 4th place in a tournament?

Money could be a motivator but as far as accolades who gives a shit between 3rd and 4th

just looked it up. indeed, the third placed team receives $500,000 more in prize money and also points for national ranking than the fourth. so it's not really a friendly.

third place games are always great fun, as the teams don't care to park any buses

Is basically like a friendly.
It's always comfy and fun since teams are no longer under intense pressure and can just play without fear of conceding a silly goal and going out.
A good appetiser before the final, I always watch them and wish Euro brought them back
its sports history so ofcourse it matters unless you are a multi winning nation when its a disappointment not being a finalist

Yeah but third or fourth place who really cares
>>68850369
nobody cares for this shit.
it should be decided by flipping a coin before the final, a dance-off during break time, or something.
