The only group on that team that choked, actually choked, was the offensive line. They faced the Giants a month before, and while they weren't great, they were definitely better than they were in the Super Bowl.
Was he as good as he was in the regular season? No. Was he as good as he was in the previous two playoffs? No. But under the conditions, he did everything he could to win that game.
