In France 70% of french people seem to have a Italian grandfather when Italy do better than France at Euro or WC.

Why root for anybody?
If I'm watching a game and one team is either behaving like cunts or playing anti-football then I might feel some schadenfreude if the other team wins but aside from that (or having money on a game), it just seems plastic and insincere.
