What you have there for the EPL is a net total that in practice only serves to inflate wages and transfers for a pool of 'good' players, not for the pool of 'Top' players.
Top players still go to Top clubs, both in competitive terms and economic terms. Real Madrid is the financial powerhouse club in the world, and they can take any player they want. Same goes for other top clubs like Barcelona or Bayern. If they go after some EPL player in some EPL club, they take him because a) they can pay the moneys and b) the player knows he'll be in a club that aims for win every year at the highest level, unlike the Arsenals and Citys of the EPL, that can only get the rejects of the Top clubs.
What that financial data means is that now the Southamptons and Stokes of the EPL have the money to aim for category 'good' players (not for Top ofc). This might make them more competitive in their domestic league but not in a European level. It simply contributes to inflate the price of transfers and wages without translating into a better team.
The thing is, this pool of 'good' players is too large and dynamic to simply be affected by the purchase power of EPL clubs. They simply cannot dominate the market. They can snatch some here and there but this pool of players is always open and feeding itself with new 'players'. The thing that really makes the difference between for la Liga is that it boasts clubs that are financially strong enough to access the pool of 'good' players while at the same contribute to feeding this same 'pool' with new or not so young players that have made it into this pool by their performance. Because la Liga makes you a better a player, and makes you a competitive side.

Public Healthcare is much better and comprehensive here, (the brit NHS is zimbabwe tier), education -specially universitarian level- is much more inclusive and cheaper here (brit uni is get a job and a loan from the bank to afford it), relative cost of living is better here as well. In short, if you have good moneys in Britain you can give zero fucks about le NHS and le Brit public education le housing and etc and live pretty well, specially in the south of England.
