maybe offensively. aldridge and kawhi aren't exactly guys who can take over an entire series, and a lot of the roleplayers are aging. that was still an all-time great team though. there just isn't much you can do when two top 5 players in their primes are coming at you, especially when backed by elite big men. Adams is turning into a monster defensively, Kanter would be seen as a star if he played 30+mpg, and Ibaka brings a ton of intangibles on both ends. A core like that can win against most teams on most nights just by brute force.

The "preoccupation" is that all of their real bigs are injury prone and can't consistently play big minutes. GS has to go small out of design, even when they aren't running the Iggy 4 Dray 5 lineup, and the Thunder have a serious option for exploiting that.
