For a guard, you can basically do three things, dribble, shoot, pass and Curry can do all 3 really well. That's called being a triple threat. Kyle Korver is an example of someone who only shoots 3s. Curry brings the ball up and is a threat as soon as he is passed the half court line. He creates his own offense and makes the defense spread out and also collapse because he can get to the rim and shoot the mid range jumper. People who think Curry only shoots 3's probably never played basketball at a decent level.

I'm not a Warriors fan but watching crisp ball handling and 3's is exciting as fuck to watch for me, and how utterly and completely he destroyed the 3 point record, breaking the all time win/loss record and the little things like the points scored in OT record make it impossible to deny he's special. If anything I'd think SP would like him more for being so light skinned.
I enjoy the A.I./Wade style of driving in and making contested circus shots too but a lot of times it treads too closely to being like Harden doing it for the express reason of drawing fouls which I'm not a fan of.
