No one wants get the lead of the peloton, i feel today we will have an even more tense final rush than yesterday

Also first blood spilled
>>
>>67436116

Fill me in, who's winning, who are the favourites?
>>
>>67436363

Yeah same. If it doesnt go uphill I just watch highlights.
>>
Hoping it will be comfy like last year.
>>
>>67436395
Doumolin is in pink, Kittel won the last stage's sprint by a mile and probably will repeat today unless a successful break happens, which is unlikely
favourites to win it all are Landa, Nibali, Valverde, Uran and Hesjedal, the latter more of an outsider
>>
Jean-Christophe Péraud retired, poor bastard

How will that sport take "roglič hit".
How can a former ski jumper transform in about 5 years to almost pink jearsy guy
>>
>>67437265
>almost pink jersey guy
or almost guy that won a very short time trial against quite average competition.

let's not overreact now.
>>
>>67437265
a lot of training!
>>
maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarten
>>
>>67437310
Althrou he is a "climber".
How many cases are here when sportsmans fail at sport a and becomes professional at sport b.
Cycling seems joke.
If you can make it at skijumping you can always be cyclist
>>
>>67437447
There are many cases of athletes switching successfully between endurance sports. Rowing to cycling to running to XC.

That he was a ski jumper tells us nothing of his endurance abilities. Magnus Backstedt was a downhill skier who won Paris-Roubaix. Michael Woods was a runner who has become a very good cyclist, and is now riding with the best in the world.
>>
>>67437567
Doping.
Jk. I know i was overreact
It just get me mad that even if i do one sport 24/7 whole my life, some guy with better genetic and less training will still beat me off.
>>
>>67437699

VAN ZYL! You crazy bastard!
>>
>>67438548
I think that the rule of thumb is that the peloton can take at least a minute for every 10 k. So they are basically right on the money on this one.

Havent watched cycling in a while.

Is Kittel back to dominate the Tour once more?
>>
>>67439331
exactly, it's a matter of organization
>>
>>67439335
Probably. Of the top sprinters it's only really Cav that isn't at the Giro.
