Because here aren't that many truly world class players period.
That term is thrown around way too frequently these days. World class is just a step below a generational talent imo. There are too many players that feature in a top tier winning system that wouldn't be considered world class if they went elsewhere. The team's success ends up being factored in to how each individual is rated.
A truly world class player can thrive anywhere.
As for the English, there's reason for optimism though. Alli and Kane are both well on their way but time will tell how they continue to develop.
