Because most NBA players don't really have anything against one another. They just want to make a lot of money. Curry is by all accounts a pretty good guy too, not really the type of player who guys want to cheap shot. Not to mention that playing that dirty means that you run the risk of a fine/suspension from the league, and you'll get a really negative reputation as a result (limits your endorsement opportunities, makes it harder to build chemistry with a new team, etc.).
