He's a brilliant NBA player, definitely MVP of this season, and his team had one of the most historic seasons ever, but he isn't the best athlete ever.

I know Curry hasn't averaged more than him, but your 3.2 is very misleading, considering he only done it once.
Also, a question that I hope people don't think is loaded, but MJ averaged over 30 over his career. Was that because they relied on him so much? I mean his FG% was just under 50% and his 3P% was jyst over 30%. Obviously still great stats, and I personally consider him the GOAT, but do you think his high scoring stats were mostly a result of him being fed the ball a lot.
I mean, Wilt had the same scoring record, but over 20 RPG over his career, and only slightly less assists. I don't think this dimishes what either have done, but I don't think you can deny both of them scored so much because they were given the ball so much. I mean, Kobe, Jordan and Westbrook have the highest usage in history, and while they are great players, I sometimes wonder whether the complete extent of their brilliance is down to how often they shot. I mean, look at Kobe's last game tonight. He's playing garbage this season, but they give him the ball tons and he scores 60, which sounds amazing until you consider he shot 22/50.
