I'm so sorry I wasn't able to share the misery earlier, I was busy and not aware of how awful today's danks performance was. But really we all knew how today's game would go. With John danks on the mound, you can feel an extra helping of despair. For as you all know, the pitcher known as John Danks is cancer. His highlights include signing a multi-year contract worth millions of dollars, only to get a season ending injury almost immediately afterward. That's no big deal right, it's not like he was signed over a world series winning, fan favorite Mark Buehrle or anything. With that fat contract of his, it also makes him the highest paid player on the team. Instead of getting talent that isn't John danks, the white sox are stuck paying a cancerous player. Other highlights include going from a below average pitcher to the cancer he is today in a short period of time and almost killing a man. At times I wonder if there are worst pitchers than danks, but that seems to be impossible as Adam dunn, his brother Jordan, and drake laroche would be able to pitch better than he ever could.

The hate for thornton is an interesting one. He was so bad late with us, but gave us one of the most amazing bullpen arms we've ever seen from like 08-10 years. I still remember those years fondly. Particularly one outing I was at in like 10 or something where it went to extras after jenks was brought into a non save situation (2-2) and gave up a go ahead homer but then AJ tied the game on the first pitch in the bottom. Then from the 10th to the 12th, thornton retired all jays he faced striking out like 6 or 7 of them until after 3 innings putz came in, put men on base, and gave up a 3 run homer.
Bit yeah can't be completely mad at Thornton.
On that note, can't be too.mad at tank too because he did have pop in his bat and hit a bunch dingers even game winning ones.
