I am a Liverpool fan. We are a massive club. Newcastle are a massive club as well. I respect Newcastle and would hate to see them relegated. But if you guys even try to blame Rafa for this situation then I will turn on you and celebrate when you go down. Rafa is a genuine world class manager. I honestly think that given a whole season he would get Newcastle into the top 6 and eventually the top 3. Rafa deserved to win the league with Liverpool and I think Newcastle are lucky to have him.
I would rather my team have Benitez for 3 months and get relegated than have someone like Pulis for 3 months and stay in the division. Trust me when I say the changes Rafa is making to your backroom setup will benefit Newcastle for decades to come. Look at Liverpool. Since Rafa left we have been able to sign world class players and be probably the 2nd best team in the league other than City, and now we have a world class manager. Who knows, in a few years Newcastle might attract their own Klopp, because they will have a great setup due to Rafa and his knowledge of how a football club should be run.
I've heard that EVERYTHING at Liverpool changed because of Rafa. Apparently before he took over world class athletes like Didi Hamann and Sami Hypia didn't even have their own private lockers and had to share with Djimi Traore and Milan Baros. Apparently Traore kept getting confused and smearing his dinner over other peoples things and this caused great unrest. Rafa changed that. He'll fix Newcastle too even if he loses every match.
