i decided to pick barcelona and my tactic is not working why isnt neymar and messi scoring lots of goals like in real life? i also use a program called genie scout to get the best young players cause thats what barcelona does in real life cos of theyre amazing scouting system so i think it is fair that i use it.

Not in the slightest, ive been buying improvements for my team wherever I can find them since brits are overpriced and my youth system still isnt fully operational since I had to get us here from league 2.
Add to that the fact that ive had a 10k+ capacity stadium for only two season now my finances are hella tight and spent on upgrading facilities and buying unsettled wonderkids from real madrid.
Ive got 3 players in my last two youth intakes that are going to play some role in the first team when they fully develop though, and hopefully that trend continues.

usual buys were in 5-20mil range, then sold for 40--50mil
scouting for transfer listed players and ones with 6 months remaining on their contracts is a good tactic. and you need a shit tonne of scouts to find promising players all over too
