I see a lot of hate for Seahawks fans on here. Are they really that bad?

I'm stuck in a pickle.
On one hand, I'm moving to Seattle for work reasons. They have an NFL team, and the ownership is good. I'll actually be able to watch the Seahawks, and I won't get my hopes up to watch my owner spend 3 first round draft picks on a bust who now plays for the Browns.
On the other hand, their fanbase isn't very good, the Skins snuck into the playoffs last year, and I still have a bit of loyalty to the burgandy and gold.
I haven't lived in the DC area for over a decade, and even my family has dropped support for the Redskins (Mostly because Dan Snyder is a terrible person IRL, and it's hard to root for a team when you've worked with the asshole owner)
I'm split.
It's not like MLB, where I don't watch baseball, so it'll be easy for me to root for the Mariners (Tickets are cheap as fuck), or NBA, where Seattle doesn't even have a team to root for.
