You ask what Leicester's medical and training staff to well? It's keeping their players 110% for every game.

Cryuff basically invented tiki taka and the current Barcelona style of possession play. How in the hell is that similar to Leicester's fast counterattacking style of play? Nice trips btw

What Cruyff was exceptional at doing, and teaching, was how to play simple attacking football. Utilising a high defensive line and total football, as in, everyone can fit in anywhere on the pitch as long as the ball flows.

The Leicester coaches and backroom staff have taken everything Cruyff excelled at, looked at how possession based football teams in England were declining massively because of their poor defence and average holding midfielders, and added strength to the back, with shape and formation in the 4-4-1-1 you see now at Leicester. Their shape is amazingly fluid. The Palace game saw Albrighton play LW, RW, RB, LB and ST for different periods of the game. Many other players shifting positions and sides throughout.

What Cruyff did was try and draw defesive shapes out of position, create space for the possession based tika-taka to take place, What Ranieri and the coaches at Leicester have installed is similiar, just dominating their defensive shape wih offensive tactical menoubres. Leaving 3 strikers up front for corners, playing a 4-3-3 defensive shape to cover all areas of the pitch while defending allowing those wingers (Mahrez and Vardy, in this shape) to play freely once possession turns over.

You'll struggle to get Leicester tickets though.
>>

well shit, that's much better than a train. every week it seems like i find some aspect of my trip getting less and less expensive, god bless the queen
>>
Anyone that's actually looking to get Leicester tickets, you should get in touch with the ticket office before planning a trip to Leicester. You don't want to plan your trip and have the game be sold out.

Best way you can get tickets is by signing up to lcfcdirect, and seeing when tickets go on general sale, you can buy them just after midnight if it's not sold out already.

Best blocks are SK2, SK3, J1-3 and L1 at the top if you want to be with the nutters.
>>
>>66383323
>Spuds will win 6 and draw 1
KEK
>>
>>66383466
Why not? All their games are winnable bar Chelsea which is why I got them to draw against Chelsea. Their hardest remaining games are Chelsea, Liverpool and United.
United are shit. Liverpool are good one week then shit the next
>>
>>66383425
What you doing in England la? mrs?

>>66383556

a european trip has always been a life goal of mine, and my nfl team is playing at wembley so i thought i'd make it into a little personal dream vacation. so far, you lads have told me to see york, bath, and a premier league match at a non-big-4 ground (i have palace on my radar as of now)
>>
>>66383587
That's not bad. Crystal Palace is a bit of a shit hole. Apart from all the gimmicks and ultras, the season ticket Palace fans are some of the nicest and honest you'll meet. Have to say, Selhurst Park is also one of the few proper English grounds left if you're not in a new stand.

The buzz you get at Leicester will be quite different to any ground in the 2016/2017 season though.
>>
Lads.
>>
>>66383669

yeah! that's what i've heard, i'm hoping to get a real taste of the atmosphere, because god knows there won't be any at my nfl game
>>

best atmosphere is probably Everton, they will be shouting death threats at Tim Howard all game as well.

>>
>>66383705

>>
>>66383698
Atmosphere is judged differently, but I think people would take more away from Leicester than they would West Ham or Manchester City for instance.

Not only do you get a memmorable clapper, you might even get a free shirt or free beer depending on how giving the owners feel.

We were all given scarves for the Palace away game last week.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qd0KB9447w8
Check em, it's practically impossible for casuals to get away tickets, but they're truly the best experience.
>>
>>66383782

nice. i've been following palace for a few years now (ever since we started getting every PL game televised each week) and they seem like the logical choice given that i'm departing from london as well. what are my odds at scratching a seat at selhurst? palace will probably finish, what, 15th this season?
>>
>>66383832
Yeah you'll get Palace tickets, they didn't even sell out vs Leicester.
>>
>>66383896

rock on. anything specific i should see/do in england while i'm there? i love getting residents' input on these things, tourism is much better when you apply yourself a bit
>>
>>66383917
Ignore all the tourist traps, ignore wasting money in London as much as possible. Find actual restaurants and ignore the chains.

For example Leicestershire has some fantastic fine dining cousine at country pubs.

Personally I don't like London so I don't know what you would do there.

If you're going York, if the weather is good do a walk in the country, a proper walk, little stuff like that.
>>
>>66383917
I mean you're on a sports board, really i'd focus on sporting activity.

Rugby can be great, a day at cricket, NFL in London you're already doing. A Premier League match, and also try a non-league match, seeing as you're in London AFC Wimbledon would be worth a go.
>>
>>66383917
England is very urban, so you will spend almost all of your time in cities and towns.

If you want to see nature, the south-west (devon and cornwall) and the Peak district (near Manchester and Sheffield) are really nice.

London and Manchester are great to visit, have a lot going on in terms of events, sports, music etc. Also Glasgow but idk if you'll go to Scotland.

There are tons of nice smaller towns, York is a bit touristy. Cambridge and Bath are also decent.

So Liverpool are confirmed for winning the league next season, right? They're at least in the top 3 of title favourites. Once Klopp buys his own players and has a good pre-season, Liverpool should be a real force that scares the league
>>
>>66384125
Depends who they bring in really.
>>
>>66384108
I don't get why people are mad that Leicester will win the league and "fuck up" in Europe when the traditional top 4 have been underpreforming for years now.

Y'all might lose yr 4th spot but that isn't Leicester's fault.

>>66384125
I think Klopp will need 2 years. Liverpool are going to be real dangerous next year though.
>>
>>66384125
is this a joke? klopp is a terrible manager. He is essentially a tv personality who gets liverpool good PR and nothing more.
>>
>>66384247
He's certainly not the right man for Liverpool.

Think Klopp would be perfect for Leicester moving on to the future though. He basically wants Liverpool to play like Leicester.

What are you looking to see?
old shit?
countryside?
cities?
beaches?

Here's my top tip, anyway. If you want to find picturesque countryside, proper Hobbit-country with rolling hills and shit, look at a map of terrain elevation like pic related and do your best to avoid anything flat and low. So, take the south east and midlands for example, you might find some nice villages and architecture, but the actual landscape isn't really up to scratch. the whole area is pretty boring in that respect, and actually a little bit miserable. Anyway, I'd say you couldn't go too far wrong by aiming for the red/orange shit on this map, and backing it up with your own research.
If you don't want to stray too far from London, try heading South-West. Down there is about as quaint and peaceful as it gets. North Devon has some spectacular moors, and the countryside tucked between them is cozy as fuck. The Cornish coast is fantastic, especially if you do your homework and avoid the worst tourist traps. Check out the Minack, St Michael's Mount, and make sure to find some good Pasties. Wherever you go, look up the National Trust if you want to poke around in some old buildings.

Chelsea (Lose)

That's a total of 13 more points. Chelsea could actually ruin the story if they have their own AGUEROOOOO moment on the last day.

See if you can buy an issue of Viz comic. I consider it to be the pinnacle of Englishness; it contains humorous comic strips for #lads and I often use it as an Englishness test for any foreigners I meet. A lot of it is written in a Newcastle dialect that's almost unintelligible as well. Plus I had a letter published there once!

For the stereotypical ye olde English experience, go to Dorset in the South West. There are trains from London Waterloo to Sherborne, which is an affluent retirement town which I used to live near. It's dull as fuck, but if you want to experience Englishness, go there. Canterbury is similar, and a lot closer to London.

Pretty boring, not much to see or do. Inner city is all foreigners and chavs, suburbs is all stuck up white middle class (and Oadby where there are stuck up middle class foreigners) so there's not really anywhere nice to live either.
>>
>>66406475
Any places with decent bars or food?

Also I just remembered Richard III is buried there. That sounds slightly kinda neat.
>>
>>66406598
I don't know about bars (the only one I ever went to was Olive's and that was just because it was the uni sports team bar but we eventually got kicked out of that) but there's a lot of decent restaurants. The massive number of Indian people there means there's loads of good Indian restaurants more or less everywhere. I'd say Belgrave is where it's most authentic.

Yeah the whole Richard III thing was alright but it's hyped up to be more of a big deal than it is. Now because of that we have signs on the outskirts of the city which say "LEICESTER: HISTORIC CITY" for no reason.

There's also randomly a mini statue of liberty quite near King Power stadium and a statue of Ghandi in Belgrave (unless it's been taken down).

In all honesty Huth is the weak link in that Leicester side. Has sure scored some top goals and made some important clearences and blocks, but he's been a shade of what he was on loan last year.

Now Wes Morgan, it's a shame he was persuaded the Jamaica call up because he would quite easily fit in to that England back line without any doubt, had been superb this season.

Anyone else get bad vibes from Vardy?
I like Vardy and want him to play, but the post match interview he seemed more angry that he didn't start the game than happy England won. He said to the interviewer in front of Kane that he was proving why he should be competing for the striker role.
Seems pretty selfish rather than actually being one with the team like the rest of the guys. Can't he handle that he can start alongside Kane? Would he rather seek personal glory than help the team? Didn't like it. Vardy should start where Welbeck played last night

In all honesty he should be mad and angry that even now, after all this credibility he's going underrated and overlooked. That's special, and I don't think the commentators give him near enough credit, they mention it, but they really don't.

This is a man who is making his bow on the international stage at 29, the Leicester medical team say he has legs of a 24 year old. He was working in a literal factory, while having a curfew from GBH for sticking up for his hearing impared mate, while playing not only non-league football, but non-league reserve football. He was down the pub with his factory mates watching and cheering on the very same players you see on this pitch.

He has gone from watching and cheering on Rooney in a sense of disbelief with his 2004 performance, to actually playing with him internationally, and playing BETTER against him domestically. You can see it in his Leicester appearences, he's a through and through leader from the front and he will play top level football way in to his 30s because he has not trained as rigourously as the current top level footballers.

He's still considered the 'non-league vardy,' even when scoring one of the best England goals this decade.

And regarding him being angry or pissed off, not only is the above more than enough reason he should be given credit and respect, but imagine what Vardy's reaction would be after being told Emre Can, a well known slow 'leaves his leg in' and make shift right back was playing, and your manager plays Danny Welbeck instead. Now, i'm not being funny, but if this was any domestic club, Leicester, Manchester United, Arsenal, Fleetwood Town, Chelsea whatever, no manager in their right mind would look at Emre Can at RB, and think of Danny Welbeck to be the man to exploit him and the high pressed defence and keeper when you have a player of Jamie Vardy's proven calibre a your disposal, friendly or not that should have been Vardy's start.
>>
>>66423053
Can't bane the Dane.
>>
>>66423087
>He's still considered the 'non-league vardy,'

What? No he isn't. Don't talk fucking bollocks.

As for saying he should be angry that Welbeck started ahead of him, fuck off. Welbeck's been good for England and deserved a chance to see how he links up with Kane.

Vardy is good at coming off the bench with his pace anyway, as it proved.
>>
>>66422652
He was understandably pissed that Welbeck made the team. That grinning coon has barely played all season and was hopeless in the game. Vardy and Kane should make the starting 11. Play 4-4-2 if they must to accommodate.
>>
>>66423101
Yes he is, even at Leicester when the media come and talk he's still that man from non-league, 'plays like a non-league striker' 'acts like a non-league striker' etc. They don't talk about his Championship winning season with Leicester, or the fact he's just about won promotion everywhere he's been. The pass to Alli perfect example of the bullshit media bias towards players, Vardy presses, wins the ball, doesn't act greedy, places the perfect pass across the box to Alli who misses disastorously; not one mention of Vardy other than "Vardy wins that back", seem to recall Welbeck doing something similiar on a press and the commentators licking his arse for it even though he didnt capitalise at all on that opportunity.

Vardy is good no matter what, start or bench, the fact he's been ear marked as a bench player to come just shows how Roy sees him. He doesn't score the majority of his goal in the late stages of games, or from typically losing positions, or as a sub, he scores most when it's level, usually when 0 - 0, and when opposition are not parking the bus. That's how you play Jamie Vardy, not left wing, not as a sub striker, and not as your plan B. Jamie Vardy is plan A.
>>
>>66423156
Some BBC article I read basically called Vardy a super sub for England.
