>one yellow card away from suspension
>next game is against Bayern München
>get a yellow card for time wasting
>admit to having done it on purpose
>get fined 20k €
What does /sp/ think about this?

Should've been banned from professional football.

Being a spineless coward is one thing, being utterly retarded about it however ...

they have to punish his honesty in order to at least try and prevent this from becoming common practice.

honestly i don't think it would make a difference if bremen played bayern with their best team but it's pretty shitty towards potential title challengers when teams just field the reserves vs. bayern and don't do it against dortmund/whatever team is chasing them, even though bayern are the best team in the league.

>1. ban him for one game
>2. he's banned for both the game he intended AND the one he didn't want to be banned in
>3. ???
>4. profit
they should have done it this way. but in the end it doesn't even matter much. there aren't a lot of players as retarded as this guy who openly admitted it right after the game. see darmstadt who had 5 (five) players do this against bayern and none of them got a fine because nobody could prove that it was intentional, even though it was obvious.

>>admit to having done it on purpose

Why?
>>
>>66103625
He's really fucking stupid to admit it. Everything could have been fine and dandy, but he just couldn't keep his mouth shut.
>>
Why did he want a ban? Is he too much of a pussy to face Bayern?
>>
>>66104307
yeah, he figured they'd lose against bayern anyway and it doesn't matter if he's banned there.
a lot of clubs do this and basically just roll over to get raped by bayern, even though bayern are in a shitty form once again just like every year at this time under poop (only 1 win in the last 4 games)
>>
>>66104307
Other than like 3-4 teams no one really bothers to show up to Bayern games anymore. They all think they've already lost before the game even starts. It's quite sad.
>>
>>66104307
He thought it would be better to be suspended against Bayern than to be suspended against any other team. Because the game against Bayern is probably lost anyway.
>>
get fined because yellow cards?
wtf is wrong with germany?
>>
>>66104424
because muh fair play
nobody will get a fine for this if they don't admit it though, he's just dumb
>>
>>66104449
its a fucking game
20k because you get a yellow card its just stupid
fuck germany
FUCK THE CHURCH
>>
>>66104464
>its a fucking game
it's business actually :^)

Well, say what you say about EPL but I'm pretty damn sure this won't happen when Pep takes charge of Man Shitty

Bremen is in a really sticky situation right now. Their victories during the last week gave them some breathing space, but should their form return to its autumn level, they could be looking at a relegation playoff.

Junuzovic is an integral part of that team, and is finally regaining some form after a pretty shit autumn.

Since Bremen knew that they would never win against Bayern anyway, and Junuzovic had accumulated 4 yellow cards, he chose to get another one to serve out his suspension during the unwinnable Bayern fixture.

This stuff happens all the time, and it's pretty clear that the team coach has some say in this. However, if the player keeps his mouth shut, he can't be accused of unsportsmanlike conduct.

Junuzovic didn't do that, so he has to face the consequence of his own idiocy now.
