That's just not true though. The reason the Colts were so dependent on the passing game is because that's what they CHOSE. When the Patriots signed Moss, Welker, and a whole bunch of offensive weapons for a few years they did the same thing as Manning's Colts: dominated the regular season offensively and then made quick exits in the playoffs.
