If a major realignment comes, it will only be for balance reasons. There is no reason to end long standing rivalries like Cowboys/Gnats or Baltimore/Pit.
However the Clots and New England should be put into the same division. It would make a natural rivalry and also "strengthen" their schedules a bit in theory.

Ravens and Redskins in the same division would be pretty intense. During one of the first ever home games the Ravens played at Memorial Stadium they put up the out of town scores and the 'skins were losing. When the crowd started cheering Art Model asked why. The people with him from the city told him that most people from Baltimore have a huge chip on their shoulder because of how the NFL just thought that we should all become Washington fans after the Colts left.
