I have a question for all Brazilians, Why wasn't Kaka playing in the 2014 World Cup for Brazil?

Even if it was the bench, Do you know how useful he would be when Neymar got hurt? On morale alone? Then goals after? EXPLAIN THIS!

Would 7-1 even happen?
>>
>>64847945
>Kaká
>past 2008
>useful
Nice shitposting you got there mate.
>>
Because he's shit and useless you retard. That's why he's in a midtable MLS club.
>>
>Why wasn't Kaka playing in the 2014 World Cup for Brazil?
Probably because he has been shit since 2008
>>
>>64847962

Oh come on ! You wouldn't sub him in?! When Neymar was injured the team looked like they lost the Cold War
>>
The real question is why didn't Ronaldinho play in 2010
>>
>>64847995
>he unironically thinks Kaká is a football player after 2008
>>
I have a better question, WHERE THE FUCK WAS FRED????
>>
because we sold the world cup
just google it
>>
You don't bring a televangelist to a football game. You bring a football player.
>>
>>64848057
Fred spent the last three years complaining about a knee injury that never healed, even with all the bitches and drugs he took.

Even if CBF called the right players (which are the 2 or 3 decent ones from europe and fighters with morale and wanting to play for the national team) a disaster would be avoided. The team was a mediocre meme and that's it. Nerman is pathetic, and so is T. Silva and D. Lolz.
>>
The real question is where the fuck was teves. Argentina would have won it.
>>
what I wanna know is where is the caveman?
>>
>>64848014
Yeah, this, wtf was going on there
>>
>>64848014
because by then he no longer gave a damn about football (no matter how much you want to believe otherwise) and was nowhere near the player he once was, besides, he had a reputation of being a choker when playing for our NT so if you take it all into account there was just no way he'd be called.

last but not least, dunga is fucking retarded

he should be there. kaka on shit form is better than bernard by far. but there is too much hate, unfortunately.

>>64848014
on ronaldinho though, i disagree. kaka shows heart for the national team, he would give 110% (like literally, enough to hurt himself). ronaldinho, on the other hand... the 10 that year should have been alex.

Bernard had a good season before the World Cup, he deserved that spot over Kaka. And it's no longer shit form when it comes to Kaka, he's just a shit player period. He's not even a standout in the MLS
>>

dunga was bitter, yes, but because he considered ronaldinho cancerous to the team due to his personality and lack of commitment to the sport and certainly not because of that game

Yeah, 2009/10 Ronaldinho was his best non-Barcelona year (including his PSG years). He worked really hard with Milan and was their best player pretty much every game. Dunga left him out of butthurt for those cheeky dribbles 19yr old Dinho styled on him, and petty Gremio-Internacional rivalry.

But 1 attacking player would change nothing, the ENTIRE 23-player roster, and every single tactic, formation and gameplan was total and utter shit. Same for 2014.

>Davirgin Luiz, Michel Bastos, Josué, Ramíres, Kléberson, Elano, Robinho, Júlio Batista, Nilmar, Júlio César, Doni, Gomes, post-Bale Maicon, Jefferson, Paulinho, Fred, Jô, Dante, Hernanes, Henrique, Bernard, Victor
mediocre or shit players who have no right of wearing that shirt

>Douglas Costa, Hélton, Maxwell, Miranda, Marquinhos, Dani Alves, Kaká, Ronaldinho, Diego Ribas, Alex de Souza,, Rafinha Alcântara, Lucas Moura, Filípe Luís, Fabinho, Naldo, Alex Sandro, Phillipe Coutinho, Lucas Leiva, Dedé, Marcos Rocha, Gabriel Paulista, Casemiro
good, experienced or great players who weren't called or weren't used enough in 2010 and 2014.

>Thiago Alcântara
>Diego Costa
great players which the CBF absolutely fucked up in not securing their presence in the NT and allowing them to play for different teams

Also reminder that Pep Guardiola is fanatical about coaching our NT, so much that he offered himself to do it in 2014, and asked to be paid only if he won the WC. CBF being retards, of course, said no.
>>
>>64848405
nice taqqya Mehmet
>>
>>64848436
>CBF being retards, of course, said no
they were right, he can't do with players he only gets 5 weeks a year what he does with a team he manages the whole year
>>
>>64848548
so what? he can still do far better than scolari and 99% of other coaches.
>>
>>64848548
Not quite accurate.

Pep is OBSESSIVE about the brazilian NT. In 2012 he presented his 2 year plan, complete with coaching schedules, detailing how he would do it and how he would coach our NT.

Sources linked back to him (namely Dani Alves in a very long and polemic interview 6 months ago) claim he was very confident about winning it.

because 38 year old Zanetti was still world class, meanwhile 28 year old Kaka was already past it and 32 year old Kaka was just a shit player

>>
>>64848766
It's always like that, really. Brazilian coaches have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER about lineups, tactics, preparation, modern training, etc. Let's look at call-ups:

>94
>Rivaldo and Edmundo weren't taken to the 94 WC despite playing really well with the NT in 93 and 94
>Raí instead
>who played so bad in the first games he's benched and never played again
>after that Leonardo goes full HOTHEAD on the american's face
>our only AM was Zinho
That Final with Italy would not go into extra-time with Rivaldo/Edmundo playing, Bebeto benched and Ronaldo given game-time.

>98
>Djalminha on the form of his life
>not called
>Edmundo on the form of his life, breaks the league goal record and leads his team to a league title
>benched for a geriatric Bebeto
>young Alex tearing shit up with Palmeiras
>Juninho Paulista injured before the WC leaves us with Rivaldo as the only AM
>Juninho Pernambucano which just won the Libertadores with Edmundo, also not called
>Zagallo instead calls more DMs and a geriatric Leonardo for the AM position, a player who's benched at Milan, instead of Djalminha/Alex
>Denílson the Memeílson called AT ALL
>Romário not called, can't repeat the greatest NT striking lineup of all time with Ronaldo, which destroyed yuropleb defenses in 1997
>Zagallo forgot his pills again and decided to cut Romário at the last second because he's a crazy old coot fraud

>Júnior, a bench LB on a mediocre and decaying Parma, is called instead of CL-winning Serginho from Milan, so good he was that Maldini was playedat CB that season and there was talk of him being better than R. Carlos
>Émerson, our inarguably best DM, injured days before the debut, replaced by Gilberto Silva

Edmundo, kinda old but still pretty damn good, not called again; Élber, which won the treble with Bayern, not called; Amoroso, no longer called - all of which could've been great bench players. National teams are not run by magical geniuses who pick the best players, best managers, or best anything.

Some of them are run by competent people

others are run by retards that don't know the difference between a hole in the ground and their own assholes.

CBF fits that description at the moment, as does AFA, a football association so shitty that they pulled off these blunders as of late

>wasted Messi's talent during his peak years by hiring horrible managers from 2007-2011, including:

>Maradona, who hadn't managed in ages
>Sergio Batista, who was ruining the youth teams
>Coco Basile, a twat that got Argentina's main team to lose 3-0 against what might as well have been Brazil's B team in the 2007 copa america final, and then led the team to poor form in world cup qualifying matches

>changed the format of the Argentine league so that it runs for a whole year, like MLS, for the 2015 season, and added 10 more teams, for a total of 30 teams in the first division
>said format came with a derby fixture, the most MLS-tier shit in our league at the moment

>couldn't even run an election properly to determine the new president of AFA

>changed the format again for the first half of 2016 after realizing this was fucking retarded, so now it's split into groups, and literally just like MLS

>will change the format back afterwards so that they can run seasons like Europe (2016-17, 2017-18, etc)

It's been over 10 years and I still think it's the funniest thing ever how 39 year old Romário outscored 21 year old Tévez, becoming 2005's top scorer.

Shows how much of a killer he really was. That and the fact that he kept scoring like a madman with the NT all the way into the early 00s.

Especially because there's such a huge dearth of center forwards nowadays, they even made Gabigol play on the left wing last season.

Kaka was the beginning of this string of unimpressive players. You had players who could genuinely do the unthinkable and then Kaka came and led the way for boring formulaic football. Everyone always said he was impressive but he rarely was. He had glimpses but never consistently like any of his Brazilian team mates. Now you have shit eaters praising Messi and Ronaldo while they've turned the game into a fucking boring mess. If Zlatan wasn't so busy choking on dick he could have changed things but instead he's a fucking choke artist.

Kaká wasn't as fantastic as Romário/Ronaldo/Rivaldo, but he was very efficient with an elevated goals/assists ratio, and many top managers at the time thought he was the embodiement of a modern attacking midfielder.

He carried an underperforming 2007 Milan full of past-it and has-beens to an UCL title. Top scorer despite being a midfielder.

Kaká choked in the NT because he was a player that needs a solid system around him to perform, and he never had that in Brazil the way he had it at Milan (which explains his 2006 WC).

But he was absolutely amazing from 2003 to 2008/9
>>
>>64849092

Mls is split into eastern and western conferences of 10 teams with a league season and a post season a.k.a playoffs a.k.a cup tournament. Is that how the argentine first league is structured atm?
>>
>>64849602
You have a point, but the difference here is that Jacquet had a tactical plan, solid preparation and a clear idea of doing away with the old, sometimes polemic players like Cantona and capitalizing on the new generation of players like Henry, Trezeguet, etc.

Zagallo/Scolari/Parreira just did it because of petty feuds and rumors (i.e. allegedly Romário was cut in 02 because he fucked some stewardess in the plane) , with no clear ideas in mind, no tactical plans relying on said players or anything of the sort.
>>
>>64849771

Our league is finally taking some step forwards now, to reap the rewards in some years (much bigger TV deals, better investiment in youth, some world class training centers, more professionalism, some new laws, FFP), tough still VERY far from ideal, and Argentina is going backwards with this 30-team shit, year-long tournament and free games on public TV.

Don't handegg players literally disappear overnight due to injuries?

It's almost always injuries, senpai. Kaká has pubalgia since 2009, before the 2010 WC he complained how painful it was every time he ran, and last year he said in an interview that same pain still has not gone away.

Shit's chronic, he can't even run like he used to.

Obviously it's criminal how Flamengo/Corinthians are being artificially enriched, regardless of their performances on the pitch. The clubs have only themselves to blame for that, for bending over to Globo instead of forming their own League.

But let's not pretend the TV deals aren't a huge improvement, because they obviously are.

I remember 10 years ago the top club earned a mere R$5m for TV rights. We've come a long way.

Kaka is probably the biggest flop in football history. Wtf are you guys talking about. 4 years in Madrid and he did literally nothing. NOTHING. 65m transfer + 5m every year just to warm the bench. The only bigger flop was Ibra, but at least Barca had the balls to cut him out at the first season.

> The clubs have only themselves to blame for that
correct
>instead of forming their own League.

that has little to do with it, it's possible that they end-up forming their own league and still negotiate tv money separately. It's what Flamengo wants.

>But let's not pretend the TV deals aren't a huge improvement

comparatively to other leagues Brazilian clubs are probably poorer than 6 years ago. There was no China snatching players of winning teams, arabs only got some shit-tier memes but now they can take the likes of Everton Ribeiro.
So really TV money desperately needs to increase a lot more to compete.

>comparatively to other leagues Brazilian clubs are probably poorer than 6 years ago

Completely untrue, we were at our comparative poorest in the 2005-2008 period, before those TV deals. Back then we had no brazilian clubs amongst the richest in the world.

Now, Corinthians is back in the top 50 richest clubs in the world (valued at like R$300m or $300m, I forgot), some other brazilian clubs appear further down the list again (São Paulo, Cruzeiro, Atlético MG), Flamengo is the most valuable football brand in Brazil at something ridiculous like $700bn, etc etc. We're solidly securing our place as the best and richest league outside the top 5.

If you want to see what a real decaying, has-been league looks like, look at the Netherlands.

Oh, and the fact that Chinese clubs started snatching our players has nothing to do with how rich the chinese league is, it has to do with the chinese businessmen behind those clubs, the complete lack of FFP over there and the fact that brazilian players still have status/hype.

m8 that's subjective, and those clubs aren't for sale anyways. It's better to compare annual expenditure in wages.

Didn't I just tell you? You're here forever, lad.

I found 4chan and /sp/ during the Beijing Olympics in 2008, learned how not to be a virgin in that same year, graduated law school in 2010, got a job and bought a car in 2011, rented a place in 2010, switched jobs in 2013, and I'M STILL HERE 5-10hs/week.

I've been on /sp/, /b/, old /r9k/, new /r9k, /a/, /v/, /vr/, /g/, seen what horrible taste /mu/ and /lit/ have, unironically learned to cook after taking up an interest in /ck/, been to fap threads on /h/, /hr/, /s/ and /wg/, been in a shitton of 40k threads in /tg/, seen moot create /int/, /pol/ and /adv/, seen hiro take over and create /his/ and I'M STILL HERE

You're here forever. You may not browse as often, you may find better uses for your time, but you're NEVER leaving this place.

Nah, that's some reverse-nostalgia talking.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVHz25HcD-s

Kaká had 23 goals in 85 official games playing as AM, with Ozil, Ronaldo and Benzema, in a squad full of new/adapting players. He played less than half the season's games for 4 seasons in a row because he was injured/not match-fit all the time, and Mourinho was sick of this shit. He was certainly not worth the price tag, as he was a perma-injured, past his prime player who underperformed compared to his Milan years, but he was by no means a bad player.

Robben scored 11 games in 50 games playing as a winger, with his NT teammates Sneijder and V der Waart, in the very peak of his youth, with a La Liga winning team.
