The organization itself can't really dispute the penalties without taking on/angering every other owner in the league. And since it's been reported (even by ESPN, which tends to be biased against NE for whatever reason) that it was a (literal) conspiracy to punish the Pats for getting off easy w/r/t "Spygate," it makes sense that Kraft just decided to take it and move on.
