does anyone think it was the right decision to go to Peyton in the second half? keep in mind, Peyton only threw for 69 yards in an entire half. The running game carried the offense. Brock threw for 222 yards in the first half
>>
>>64667425

in Manning's final season, Brock is to Peyton what Bubbly Blister was to Elway in his final season.

the offense was fine in the first half, we just got unlucky with turnovers.

Brock was benched on Anderson's fumble, something he had absolutely nothing to do with. Then, Anderson goes into GOAT mode and wins the game for Peyton
>>
>>64667599
How come the running game didn't do so well in the first place?

It's all on Manning for keeping the ship afloat, at least in terms of controlling plays and leadership.

the running game was fine in the first half. I can't find the stats but it wasn't like we were getting stuffed

three of the four turnovers occurred in the Chargers half of the field
>>

What position do you play?
>>
>>64667723
Shit was falling apart, the offense needed a spark, and the move provided that. If it didn't work out like it did then you might have had a point, but as it stands it was the right move.

>>64667713
Yeah, but if that history stays to form then the peyton will still have made it further in the playoffs than the chefs simply by default.
>>
Worst first seed in NFL history. That seed should belong to New England, but meh, Goodell will do everything he can to refball Brady out of any advantage.

Probably, but if they use that and, after keeping Peyton through the playoffs, want him to stay 100% committed to the team indefinitely without even considering retirement or supporting Osweiler gain experience then it's all shit.

I'm worried again that Elway and co. will want to keep Peyton so much they waste and get rid of Osweiler.

>young prospect dreams destroyed
>manning now starts
>starts in the playoffs

The best case scenario would've been Denver beating SD by 40 like they should've with Brock. With that said, who do you fuckers want starting? I've seen Parm in the playoffs and I'd rather have Brock to be honest with you.
>>
I just love the HGH excuse. The man is 39 years old and has had multiple surgeries. I doubt he's even ever taken HGH but if he did it wouldn't bring him back to his prime or anything like its some sort or fountain of youth drug or something. But I guess you gotta complain about something to take attention away from the fact you just lost to an old man.
>>
>>64667853
Doubt they were trying very hard in the Dolphins game, although I only saw half of it. I doubt BB cares about homefield enough to risk injuries. Losing to philly is pretty embarrassing though
>>
>>64667914
I want Brock but after today there's no chance in hell we see him unless Peyton gets injured vs the Steelers
>>
>>64667931
>doesn't care about #1 seed
>never won an owl without it
They certainly did give up in that dolphins game though.
>>
>>64667914
Brock desu.
Fucking receivers spilling their spaghetti, should've won 36-6 desu
>>
>>64667914
I would have liked to see Os starting going into the playoffs so that if needed Peypey could come in like he did today. No chance of that happening now unless Peyton hurts himself getting out of bed.
>>
>>64667914

Even as someone who wanted to see Osweiler in the playoffs, if you start in such a good situation and still have such a good team that the defence alone can often carry it at times then it's just silly to not use someone at least a bit more tried and tested under pressure (even if he is often shit).

Osweiler is still an unknown, and unless he was shit hot then he's not going to start as QB in a playoff game this season. Unknowns are still more ofa risk than poor performers.
>>
>>64667914
I would want to see Brock start too, but they got let Papa PeyPey have a shot because he's the golden goose.
>>
>>64668021
Peyton has proven he is maybe the most infamously bad under pressure QB in history

Brock at least came through against the Pats this season

>>64667914
I would have liked to see how he'd fare in the playoffs too, but after what just happened it's going to take a disaster for him to get back in. It's unfortunate because those turnovers weren't strictly his fault, but they all happened under his watch and it left that door open.
>>
>>64667914
Definetly Brock. I'm shitting bricks already imagining that Pey will start against the Stoolers. It just scares me.

Peyton managed to bring the game back due to leadership and pre-snap skills, but I got to admit he is really a playoff choker and there is a high probability he will repeat to spill the spaghetti.
>>
>>64667973
That's a pretty misleading stat; teams generally get first seed because they're strong, they don't get strong because they got the first seed.
>>
>>64668082

This is true, but it wasn't primarily Brock's performance against the Pats that resulted in the victory, and Peyton is shit but he has managed to get to owls before.
>>
>>64668301
>it wasn't primarily Brock's performance against the Pats that resulted in the victory

You could say the same thing about Peyton and this win, but in actuality, he did play a part of it just like Brock did in the Pats game.
>>
>>64668409

I guess that's true, yeah.

I guess nobody has any idea if it'll be a one-off performance or that sort of thing can be something he is quite capable of more often, though.

Brock is the heir apparent, senpai. Give him a year or two of practices and starts with a stable lineup and Chicken Parm whispering in his ear and he'll be a top 5 QB; the reason his mind game isn't on par with the rest of him is because while 5head is on the team there's no way he's ever being anything other than a stand-in.

Brock is fine, he's a great starter.

Keep in mind, only one of the 5 Bronco turnovers today was really Brock's fault.

When they put in Peyton, they also changed out players on the offensive line. Lo and behold this was an improvement, all of a sudden the QB had time to actually think before throwing.

If they had given Brock the kind of protection they gave Peyton, Brock would have been spectacular (and even at that he was really good).

Brock in 2016. I hope the Broncos are smart enough to keep him around.

Also, I was at the game. It was freaking awesome.

Did they take Schofield to the locker room and kill him? Because they honestly should have done that to be honest desu family sempai shaking my head baka. That guy fucking sucks.

I wanna see the Broncos beat the Pats when they're as healthy as possible. Pretty sure Keyshawn Martin was the #1 receiver that game. And it went to overtime.

I actually feel confident this year bros, Denver in pressure situations has done amazing every time. I feel better about this than 2014 and 2013. I feel this team can win it all.
>Best overall defense
>Amazing run game
> Either qb can win it all, but Manning will need to not spill spaghetti or Brock lobster can win it
>>

CJ Anderson is a fucking monster, and Hillman's pretty good too, but they need to stop fumbling.
>>
>all these people shitting on Peypey for using HGH when he wasn't even in the league
>nobody ever mentions that Seattle had like 7 players on their Super Bowl team that got busted for using PEDs
>>
>>64667723
One of the announcers said it best, it was more that they needed Peyton to read the defense to make adjustments and there were probably missing audibles in the first half.
