Day two of the 39th World Darts Championships from the home of darts - the Lakeside - gets underway this afternoon with the return of one of the all-time great entertainers.
It's been nearly four years since The Count - Ted Hankey - last played in the tournament, losing to eventual winner Christian Kist. After that point, he went and did something else, I'm not sure; it involved Barry Hearn apparently? Anyway, he quit that circuit and returned to the BDO last year, only just making Lakeside on account of Larry Butler losing the Winmau World Masters final. Hankey plays in the last match of the afternoon against Canada's David Cameron.
The other matches today include reigning champion Scott Mitchell beginning his defence of his title against Craig Caldwell, Sweden's Peter Sajwani faces Sam Hewson and Japan's Seigo Asada plays Darius Labanauskas and 2013's champion Scott Waites faces Willem Mandigers. In the women's draw, former champion Trina Gulliver and last year's losing finalist Fallon Sherrock begin their Lakeside campaigns.
Coverage starts from 1:00pm on BBC Two and switches to BT Sport 1 at 6:00pm.

A 9-darter is pretty rare, the last one at the BDO Worlds was in 1990, although they are more common in the PDC where the standard is significantly higher
